    I know, seriously. Unless he is some cold blooded murder or has some major public job 9thoguh why would someone like that have time to do this) why would he  be scared?

    I mean, seriously. All he did was edit some silly video. That happens ALL THE TIME. I'm sure I'm seen that same vid edited to mock Trump before tooo. Or like when he got  stunnered by Steve Austin I saw vid changing Austin to others - Ithink even Hillary Clinton pre election. LMAO

    I would say that reason why CNN went after him was him publishing list names and pictures of all Jewish employees in CNN.

    That is false as they found out about it AFTER they went after him. The reason was and always been that he is the author of the Trump wrestling CNN meme.

    That list was posted all over twitter same day when Trump posted the meme

    As was all of his previous posts. That's the meaning of previous.

    I'm saying that CNN were not familiar with his posts before they went after him.

    They found his previous posts during their investigation they performed because he was the author of CNN wrestling meme.

    Trying to spin it any other way is ridiculous.

    It's like the police searching someone for weapon and finding drugs instead. Did the fact hey found drugs mean the reason for search was drugs, because they happened to found drugs? Of course not.

    But how CNN wouldn't be familiar with his posts as his Reddit handle become known after people started to post in social media that same person whose wrestling meme Trump posted has made anti-Semitic posts (which made it possible that CNN and other were able to find information about him). But somehow CNN didn't know about those other posts when they went after him?

  4. New Spider-Man was disappointing. Spider-Man himself was bit too whiny, even though good meaning brat. Villain was probably best written character in the movie, but his motivations were probably bit too well justified as I found myself rooting him over Spider-Man. Teen romance storyline was just awfully written garbage.  Iron Man continues to be annoying character. I did like how they portray Avengers as corporation that doesn't have time for little people and their problems. Movie has nice funny moments, but its plot isn't interesting enough to prevent boredom at certain moments. Overall, I would say that it is probably worst of MCU's movies, which it's part of even though it is bit independent spin-off as its is produced by Sony (Columbia Pictures) film instead of Disney.

  5. The Democrats are just as tragically stupid as the Republicans with this impeachment and other Trump removal talk.

    It isn't necessary best strategy for Democrats as party, but for individual democrats it seems to be work well. As they get constantly free time in press, their base likes every mention of such, it also worked quite well for individual republicans during Obama's presidency (them talking impeaching Obama or removing him from office because he isn't born in USA and so on).

    Still a state shouldn't be able to boycott another state. Isn't that what the Commerce Clause is all about? Of course they're all lovey dovey with China, that's fine. Not that we want Californians here.

    Speaking of not being allowed to travel: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4644268/Charlie-Gard-s-parents-lose-final-appeal.html I'm glad I live in a free country.

    And yet the UK opposes the death penalty? I guess not for children. I find the doctor's position on this difficult to fathom. They have the money, what's the problem? Unless the UK does not consider their child to really be theirs?

    It is case where they have come in conclusion that child can't be saved and keeping him alive artificially is just prolonging his suffering and therefore against his human rights. ECHR has decided that this is issue in which don't interfere in states decisions.

    "theories have lots of evidence and proof that they are real, but they are called theories because they focus in understanding how something works"

    How it is in contradiction of what I said?

    Because it's something you just made up, not part of the dictionary quote you posted.

    Dictionary quote that is posted was

    ""theory" refers to scientific theories, a well-confirmed type of explanation of nature, made in a way consistent with scientific method, and fulfilling the criteria required by modern science."

  8. So you dictionary definition confirms what I said, not what you originally stated.

    ""theory" refers to scientific theories, a well-confirmed type of explanation of nature, made in a way consistent with scientific method, and fulfilling the criteria required by modern science."

    "theories have lots of evidence and proof that they are real, but they are called theories because they focus in understanding how something works"

    How it is in contradiction of what I said?

  9.

    The whole point of a conspiracy theory is that it is a rather unlikely scenario, usually involving many moving parts. But they are called theories for a reason, if there was clear evidence to support it then it would no longer be a theory.

    It depends on use of word theory, as science for example theories have lots of evidence and proof that they are real, but they are called theories because they focus in understanding how something works instead of practical use of that something.

    No, they're called "theories" because they're not "facts". Any theory may have to be modified/discarded when new observations are made.

    Theories are adjusted if they don't predict what is observed. Also observations are checked, double and triple checked to limit error caused by people observing, inaccuracies in measurements, elements that observers didn't take in account and so on. But anyway they are called theories because they focus in reason instead of practice. Like for example theoretical medicine focuses on seeking reasons why people get ill and practical medicine focuses on curing people, which often go hand in hand with each other, as curing something without knowing what causes it isn't easy or practical approach and seeking causes of illnesses without seeking ways to cure them isn't necessary best use of the resources.

    Quoting dictionary here

    "In modern science, the term "theory" refers to scientific theories, a well-confirmed type of explanation of nature, made in a way consistent with scientific method, and fulfilling the criteria required by modern science. Such theories are described in such a way that any scientist in the field is in a position to understand and either provide empirical support ("verify") or empirically contradict ("falsify") it. Scientific theories are the most reliable, rigorous, and comprehensive form of scientific knowledge, in contrast to more common uses of the word "theory" that imply that something is unproven or speculative (which is better characterized by the word 'hypothesis'). "

  11. Lack of console version was question of prioritizing resources and Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 slacking capacity to do things that Obsidian wanted to do (mostly because they don't have enough memory).

    Xbox One and Playstation 4 removed capacity problems if you don't count controls as game control isn't optimal for PoE style gameplay and that is problem that never goes away.

    And resource question went away as console version is made by different company with their own money, so this console port will not only not eat Obsidian's resources to make other games but actually it can give them more resources as they as IP owners probably will profit from the port.

  12.

    It means that I am investigated against when I am literally as innocent as can be (since I was just born!) what about innocence until proven guilty? No?

    What are you talking about?

    The police show up to a crime scene, collect physical evidence (including your DNA), and run it through the database. BINGO! Ben No.3 left a hair behind whilst robbing the German equivalent to 7-11 (probably called 8-25 cause they work so hard) and they can roll right up to his residence and slap the cuffs on.

    Problem is in partial DNA matches which can cause unfounded suspicions, which can in bad day lead in imprisonment of wrong person because they can't afford to defend themselves.

  13. She does. The presidency there is more or less ceremonial. I think they have some miscellaneous responsibilities and powers, but really...

    (e): The easiest analogue would probably be VP of the U.S.

    Veto power over new federal laws is quite significant power, although Germany's presidents usually use it only to prevent laws that they think are in violation of constitution and it has been only used eight times total by all the presidents I think.

  14. https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-hotel-received-270-000-from-lobbying-campaign-tied-to-saudis-1496700739

    President Donald Trump’s Washington hotel received roughly $270,000 in payments linked to Saudi Arabia as part of a lobbying campaign by the Gulf kingdom against a controversial piece of terrorism legislation last year.

    The payments—for catering, lodging and parking—were disclosed by the public relations firm MSLGroup last week in paperwork filed with the Justice Department documenting foreign lobbying work on behalf of Saudi Arabia and other clients.

    As part of a lobbying effort against the bipartisan Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, or JASTA, Saudi Arabia’s Washington lobbyists and consultants spent approximately $190,000 on lodging, $78,000 on catering, and $1,600 on parking at the Trump International Hotel. The Daily Caller website first reported on the payments.

    Mr. Trump last month made Saudi Arabia the first stop of his first international trip as president, and described the country as a key ally in the war on terror and an important partner in bringing peace and stability to the Middle East.

    Saudi Arabia has been lobbying against JASTA, a law that was passed by Congress over former President Barack Obama’s veto. It allowed Americans to sue foreign governments over terrorists attacks.

    The payments to the Trump Hotel were made by one of MSLGroup’s subcontractors and reimbursed by the Saudi government, according to Michael Petruzzello, an MSLGroup executive. They were part of a lobbying campaign bringing American military veterans to Capitol Hill to advocate against JASTA, he said.

    All the hotel spending took place between Nov. 2016 and Feb. 2017, according to Mr. Petruzzello. Most of the payments to the hotel were made before Mr. Trump was officially sworn in as president, but some were in late January and early February—after Mr. Trump became president.

    Survivors and families of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks have been pushing for the law so that a lawsuit can proceed against Saudi Arabia for any alleged role in the attacks. The kingdom has denied any involvement and U.S. officials have backed that position.

    Ethics officials have raised questions about foreign government payments to the Trump Organization. Watchdog groups say the Trump Organization’s business with foreign entities, in particular governments that book rooms or events or other business at the Trump International Hotel near the White House, risks violating a constitutional provision that bars federal officers from accepting payments or gifts from foreign countries without Congress’s consent.

    If those links are only rebuttal or proof of dissent then I would come conclusion that things here are in excellent condition

    Sadly reality is bit more complicated, as I concluded in my original post

    If you say so. I disagree.

    Do you even know what you are disagreeing with?

    By looking how Muslim members of our parliament have voted / campaigned on these issues

    All the Muslims in our parliament campaigned for equal marriage and adoption rights for homosexuals (Interesting note our "Christian" members of parliament agree with sentiment that homosexuality is unacceptable way of life)

    All the Muslims in our parliament oppose idea that sharia law is above our national law. (Interesting note, our "Christian" members of parliament constantly quote Bible to over rule our national laws)

    All the Muslims in our parliament oppose idea of segregation of men and women or that women should cover themselves if they don't want (Interesting note some of our "Christian" members of parliament think that women and men should not mix and they are meant to do different things in the life, like women should be in home taking care of the children)

    All the Muslims in our parliament oppose honor killings and are most active members in campaigning for harsher punishments for those that do such things

    All the Muslims in our parliament campaign for stricter hate speech laws and speak against hate speak and violence against Jews. (Interesting note some of the our "Christian" members of parliament campaign for deportation of Muslims, Jews, Polish, Russian and all the other people they don't like)

    All the Muslims in our parliament are strictly against all sort discrimination towards homosexual let alone supporting killing them (Interesting note there has been "Christian" members of our parliament that have said that our constitution should have exception that allows killing sodomites)

    All the Muslims in our parliament oppose all sort of killing regardless of reasoning.  (Killing in name of Jesus and Finland is seen acceptable thing to do in some circumstances by quite lot of people)

    Of course they come from most liberal segments of our Muslim population

  17. Check out what Muslim communities have to say in polls about the west and western culture:

    - being homosexual is unacceptable way of life;

    - sharia law should be above the national law;

    - women and men should be segregated and women should cover themselves;

    - honor killings are ok;

    - killing Jews is justified;

    - killing homosexuals is acceptable;

    - killing in the name of Mohamed is justified;

    - etc.

  18. We need to regulate cyberspace - May

    Speaking after chairing a meeting of the government's emergency committee Cobra, the prime minister also spoke about the need to deal with terrorism, saying the UK needed to work with international leaders to shut down areas of the internet used by terrorists to communicate.

    Mrs May said there needs to be an international agreement to "regulate cyberspace" where extremists have "safe spaces".

    We cannot allow this ideology the safe space it needs to breed. Yet that is precisely what the internet, and the big companies that provide internet-based services provide.

  19.

    Spicer's appraisal of Trump's speech was hilarious. Trump united civilizations :lol:

    Technically he united EU leaders to think that USA is hostile state :devil:

    That's great. Anyone that is hostile towards the IV Reich is a good guy.

    It's good to hear that Isis and other rapists, child killing murders are now good guys

  20. TV should not be government funded. All that leads is to government brainwashing. It doiesn't even matter to me if the particular thing is something I agree with the gov't should not be the tv business. PERIOD.

    I must say that I disagree in funding part, as in my opinion publicly funded TV can excellent competition to commercial channels if its is managed and supervised independently from the government. Of course there is constant risk of government influencing how it operates, which is the reason for independent supervision. Like for example how CEO of our national broadcasting company had to resign, because he first intervene how said company's newsroom write about our prime minister and then said that he don't need to listen the supervising body that checks that they follow ethical journalistic code.

    PS. I find it bit surprising that PBS has smaller operational budget than our national broadcasting company.

  21.

    The collateral damage argument versus terrorism is an interesting one, because we have our militaries actively engaged in many Muslim countries. It's pretty clear terrorists are justifying their acts based on the collateral damage that is happening there.

    yeah, the problem is, why are we even there in the first place?

    In past 15 years it has mostly been to fight terrorism, which ironically has increased amount of terrorism and terrorists (at least most radical form which is the thing seen in the news).

    The only campaign against 'terrorist' was the Afghan one - and it had some ups and downs, but overall the propaganda target was achieved.

    Other campaigns led only to removal of safety barriers in the region...

    You forget that also Iraq war and Libya's intervention were partially justified with claims that Saddam and Gaddafi give support for terrorist and also in both of them propaganda target was achieved. Then there are constant drone strikes against possible terrorist targets. And now there are the fight against ISIS, strikes in Somalia, support operations in Nigeria, supporting Saudi Arabia's operations in Yemen and so on. And then there are home front hunt of terrorists and constant increase in security and ways to spot terrorist in internet and so on. Countries have spent trillions after trillions in fight against terrorism in only to claim that there is more terrorism in world than ever and even bigger need for new operations and new security measures.
