  1. To anyone offended by the censorship like me here is a mod that restores the text: http://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity/mods/28/? Better yet, it also gives you the option to have both the original text and the new limerick. Whoever made this mod is a hero. You can't keep a game censored on PC no matter how many people you get to whine about it.
  2. I love how this mod gives the option to keep both as I like the new one but do want it uncensored. As far as I'm concerned, in my game, this backer gets two entries for the price of his troubles. Excellent mod.
  3. Am I on Tumblr right now? In no way was that poem "transphobic", if anything it was mildly homophobic, but was much more "ALCHOLICPHOBIC" or whatever people like you would call it. You need to get a thicker skin, and stop trying to censor everyone around you. Or maybe just leave your politics at home while reading a joke.
  4. If you ask me anyone who found the in game joke "transphobic" was just bringing their own politics to the table. That joke was about a man getting so drunk he slept with another man, not a transwoman. If anything homosexuals should be crying foul, but I like to think that movement's skin is a bit thicker. All this hubub was caused by one very confused young man endlessly fighting against himself and seeing shadows of enemies he creates everywhere. It's both sad and a little funny. And now instead of a joke not aimed at anyone in the game, there is a joke aimed directly at sensitive idiots who would take offense at everything. It would be a win if it didn't call in to question Obsidian's respect of creativity and desire to share it uncensored.
  5. IN NO WAY WAS THE JOKE IN THE GAME ABOUT TRANS GENDER WOMEN! THE JOKE WAS ABOUT A MAN GETTING SO DRUNK HE SLEPT WITH ANOTHER MAN! TRANSGENDER BULL**** WAS NEVER A PART OF THIS! HOLY **** LEARN TO READ!!
  6. I just can't believe the company caved. I mean these were idiots getting offended over something that ISN'T OFFENSIVE. All you had to do was point out what morons they were being and intelligently defend your backer's content instead of just instantly caving and asking them to change it. I wonder if they would have caved so easily had it been someone questioning something they had written?
  7. I just don't see why it needed to be changed in the first place. What, because a bunch of idiots misread it and complained? What are we going to change next in the game because Twitter has a bug up it's ass?
  8. It wasn't much but that Cartman figure feels like it cost more to produce than everything in my CE. Mind you, it seems like my map was at the tail end of the printing run so it looks even worse than it should. Lucky me.
  9. Yep. I could get over it not being in the style I wanted or as detailed and large, but it's not even pleasing to look at. Seems like quality control was low. Sweet.
  10. Mine is far more washed out and fuzzy looking than that. Don't get me wrong, some of that's my camera, but mine still looks like a defective run if that's what they're supposed to look like. Mine is practically white washed.
  11. Look, I'm all for supporting Obsidian, that's why I gave them money years in advance without question. But getting a **** product is getting a **** product no matter how you slice it. If they needed more money to make the cloth maps something memorable instead of this cheap trash I would have gladly paid it. Instead I'm just left with a sour taste in the mouth, which is not what I should have after recieving a package from hands down my favorite developer.
  12. For the record Obsidian, this is what a classic RPG cloth map should look like: YOUR'S DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A SCALE ON IT!
  13. I'm extremely disappointed. The only reason I pledged for the collectors edition was the promise of a "beautiful cloth map like those of classic CRPGs". Instead I'm treated to modern screen printed garbage and a collectors edition that looks like cheap tat next to Stick of Truth's CE which I paid less for. It's not even just the printing job, the map it's self is just a lazy copy of the in-game map and looks in no way like a living piece of the world. I will literally never pledge for another CE sight unseen. Shame too as this really sort of tarnishes the otherwise great experience I was having as a backer. This game deserved better than this. Obsidian and their backers deserved better than this.
