  1. I'm saying we kill a Chimp spy. Nothing illegal about that.
  2. 2 Pikman, 2 Metroids, 2 Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Kart.....
  3. Why save just one internet when you can save ALL the INTERNETS! Just give me money and I'll do it
  4. Eco-system murder!
  5. That depends, how fun is your Wii to play with? and, of course, third party support is crucial Yes, I hate me too
  6. already sent an email to my congressmen (in my case, women)
  7. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060516/ap_on_...ea/iran_nuclear Diplomacy isn't exhausted, but it is unlikely to succeed at this point in my mind, but if it ultimately fails..... sanctions, sanctions, sanctions If Russia and China won't, battleship diplomacy, then war. Otherwise you will be going through this every time some country makes a run for the bomb, and if N.Korea has taught us anything, it's appeasement and IAEA monitering don't work.
  8. I remember reading somewhere that they planned it this way with a number of big titles coming after the launch. I think they said they were doing this to hopefully avoid the game droughts that the Gamecube had. Release all your games at launch but then not have anything for the next 6 months and thereby nothing to hype up the console. If you space them out then you have something to hype up and keep the console fresh in the mind of the public. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fair enough.
  9. everytime I try to think of why one system will win, I come up empty handed. The 360 has it's lack of line-up and lack of appeal to non-US consumers, but good power for a decent price. The PS3 is just so ****ing pricey, has similar thin line-up (it is new), but it is the leader of the last gen with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Except there isn't a single blue-ray dvd out.... The Wii....well the name hurts a bit, many big titles missing launch, not nearly as powerful as the other systems, but it's got Zelda on launch, the controller, and will be signifigantly cheaper. all three are basically a wash in terms of online support, imo, but the 360 is the only one that has proven anything so it has the edge. I dunno, anyone who says they know is REALLY just guessing (this includes myself).
  10. Dark, twisted, evil things that would hurt your soul to even look at. it's a collection of her favorite hades quotes
  11. I've spent about an hour total playing Oblivion, so not an expert, it seems like it might be a fun game but I wouldn't call it a classic or anything. So, when I say it's the "killer app", I mean it as it's the best they got right now in terms of public perception in terms of quality and gaming reviews. Most of the other 360 "killer apps" fizzled: Perfect Dark 0 The Outfit Project Gotham Racing 2 Dead or Alive 4 Kameo Elements of Power Only Fight Night 360 seemed to be well received
  12. That's the problem, Oblivion is its "killer app" right now and it's not even console exclusive.
  13. Ya, but the difference that you note is the important part. THe 360 is out and still is about hype.
  14. Well, you can download old games and such. and you can already voice chat over the DS, iirc What else does Live have, new content downloads? Way I see it, that's not an advantage. That's nickel and dimming me for **** I should already have.
  15. 2 things: 1. That "underdog" is a clear 2nd place finisher last gen. 2. You seem to think free online service (Live esc) for the PS3 is a big deal, tho you didn't note it for Nintendo. Basically, imo, this is going to be a very tight race.
  16. Um, then explain your last post EDIT: O, and FEAR, another game that got hyped. No shocker it fits in with the 360 line-up (as for Gears of War, believe it when I see it complete, enough hype for 360 games)
  17. that's funny...hahaha...ha......hey......waitaminute.......
  18. by over 4 times, iirc Not really even close. Shadow: I dunno, Assaisins Creed, as an idea and because of it's creators, sounded promising. But I agree that it's slim pickings so far. Silly arguements like this were made about the DS too. I have Nintendo fighting for second place. Again. "I did not see a single title that would make me want to buy a..."...360 What, Halo 3, a sequel to an over-hyped FPS or Fable 2, a sequel to a MASSIVELY over-hyped action/rpg. So far the 360 has been all about hype and no delivery. I saw more promise in the PS3 line-up, including upcoming PS2 games. Don't get me wrong, didn't see a ton off stuff for the Wii either (I am a sucker for Zelda tho). I thought E3 sucked all around. I thought the DS might have stolen the show with it's line-up Edit: or PC games, tho Blizzard being a non-contributor except for WoW was unexpected and dissapointing
  19. I'm not sure the PS3 will even put up PS2 numbers.
  20. dissapointing, but I got that impression off some reviews Time will tell
  21. The US needs to win the world cup or the terrorists win
  22. No, that would just look silly with their Urban Catholic School Girl Storm Trooper outfits.
  23. Yep. Morons. To "protect" the team, they won't have a identifying flag on the bus (the buses are painted in flag colors), so now they can be identified by the fact that they are the only non-flag team bus.
