  1. I really like this idea. It would give buggies and buddies a proper purpose at your bases while making base building feel much more worthwhile. The supply line system especially could encourage players to actually build and maintain multiple bases.
  2. I was thinking the same thing. Tadpoles are already there, so frogs would fit the pond ecosystem really well. Even having them occasionally jump between the water and the shoreline would make the area feel much more dynamic. I’d definitely like to see them added in a future update. 🐸
  3. Yeah, that’s rough. Hopefully there’s a way to reset the quest without having to restart the whole game. Definitely worth checking if an older autosave is still available.
  4. Yeah, that sounds like a crafting recipe bug. If it’s literally requiring the Toenail Cutlass itself as an ingredient to craft the Toenail Cutlass, the recipe is obviously stuck in a loop. Hopefully it gets fixed in a patch.
  5. The memory improvements are definitely a welcome change, especially if the longer sessions were causing issues after a couple of hours. Hopefully the loading and multiplayer problems on the Xbox/PC side get addressed soon too, since those seem to be affecting quite a few people after the update.
  6. I really like the shared chest idea, especially if you end up having several smaller bases around the map. Having to remember which base has which materials can get tedious pretty quickly. I’d probably prefer the linked storage over the tube system, though. Maybe you could connect specific chests together rather than having the entire inventory shared automatically. That would still make moving resources between bases much easier without making storage completely trivial.
  7. I agree. Having separate actions for a tap and a hold on the D-pad would make the controller mapping much more flexible, especially for quick actions like Hot Deposit Nearby Storage.
  8. Really great to hear! The Abyss update sounds absolutely incredible. Huge respect to Obsidian and Eidos Montréal for continuing to deliver such amazing updates.
