  1. There is no house in G2's map as this is a park, so no porch/deck/house/shed. Flying on butterflies/moths I would think is impractical for two reasons: 1. Wings would get in the way of player visibility while riding. 2. These insects utilize their low body mass to lift themselves into the air, hence the large wingspans. A better insect for flight might be a bumblebee, a flying ant, a locust, or a mosquito.
  2. I've noticed that freezing occurs more gradually based on armor worn and consumable buffs compared to sizzle with appropriate gear and buffs. I would assume this is just due to balancing being needed between these two. Progression of environmental effect somewhere in the middle of those two would seem appropriate.
  3. So let me run through your post and trim it down to what actually has any bearing on the issue you are posting about: PC specs: Windows 11, Intel i9-13900kf, 64GB (speed) RAM, 4GB SSD drives (x2 {Model of SSD and raid 0?}) plus legacy HDD's(game on which drive?), Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB NETWORK: I have all Gigabit hardware to the telephone pole. Plenty of speed. Latency usually stays below 30-40. (Just say what NIC and what internet package & provide speedtest.net result) Game: Grounded 2 from XBox Gamepass (not Steam). My kids also acquired the game from Gamepass. Within about 10 minutes of joining their session on their Xbox series X with my PC, I CTD. Joining with my Xbox S has no issues. ____________________________________________________________ Now, here's what I suspect could be your issue if you've already tried uninstalling, and reinstalling your game on your primary SSD. It is unlikely to be internet speed at fault. More likely is jitter on your connection. Speedtest.net will test for jitter and provide the average jitter.
  4. What we need is a fresh water and salt water garden for the seaweed, pond moss, and other water flora.
  5. Sadly, this is still a significant issue. Though, I have no fps issues like this in original Grounded, even while hosting two other players in Louisiana and the UK from my location by Chicago, IL.
  6. Then you're doing something wrong. I tested it and it works fine. I can crack two coals and collect them before max sizzle.
  7. Grounded 1, you would just wear full antlion set, turn on fresh defense, and increase your max health with molars.
  8. This is no different than the grill area in Grounded 1.
  9. Also, CEO in charge of UltimateEngine made a statement that game devs should be optimizing earlier in development, not at the end. So Grounded 2 devs should be doing optimization first to solve the performance problem.
  10. This will be my last week of work before undergoing back surgery this coming Tuesday. I've been waiting almost 5 long years to be rid of this pain that returned when a distracted teen plowed into me with daddy's truck an hour before New Years Day 2020.

  11. I recorded another video covering the basic construction techniques involved in building the Light Tower. Check it out! https://youtu.be/sNlT7080-Cg
  12. Hi everyone, just wanted to share the Light Tower that I've been building in Grounded 2. I started working on this design years ago in original Grounded, and I'm updating it for the new base building and crafting introduced in Grounded 2. The goals of this building are to act as a navigational beacon, create a defensible base, enhance base crafting experience, and to provide an ideal zipline network. Obviously the current tower is not a completed design as I continue to source milkweed and other Tier 3 materials, and we do not currently have access to Tier 3 Omnitools and raw materials like pine cones, lint, and more. Any feedback and suggestions on how to improve the design are greatly appreciated, so you can comment in this thread or directly on the YouTube video as well. https://youtu.be/j-4xGy5cnMc
  13. In the game, when you place lamps in your base, you expect to be able to see your illuminated base at night, and if you have a lot of lamps, it should be increasingly bright (cumulative total of all light reflecting off the same surface). If you are close to your base (less than 20 tiles away, you can clearly see the light from plant lamps, our brightest source of light currently. However, if you move further away, like 50+ tiles from the light source, your base fades into the blackness of night like a shadow being swallowed up like a black hole. So can the developers either fix the light casting mechanic ingame, or if that is not possible, maybe let us chop up the pop cans in the yard to get some reflective aluminum?
  14. Makes it challenging to hunt airborne insects without staves that track targets.
  15. What kills my FPS completely is if more than 50% of my view is toward the sky.
