  1. As the question above says, I am hoping somebody knowledgeable can explain how the game rolls the Random Scripted Encounters it throws at you. Specifically, what are gamedata files involved, and what mechanism/variable inside the files determines the encounter. For example, if I wanted to add a scripted encounter while roaming Neketaka or Dunnage or when sailing, or if I wanted to adjust the weight/frequency of event occurrence, what files should I modify? Thank you in advance.
  2. @Constentin Lévine Apologies for necroing this post, but how were you able to compile this list: did you test all weapons whether some of their enchantments work universally? Or is there an attribute, like "StatusEffectType", in the game's code that you filtered out in order to see whether that effect is universal? @Elric Galad I'll also apologize in advance if I seem presumptuous, but you seem to know your way around the code structure of this game. I was wondering how is the game removing the Status Effects endowed by an item when you unequip it. I read in earlier posts that damage bonus stacks from No Rest for the Wicked (from The Red Hand) used to work even when the weapon is not currently equipped. As seeing that is no longer the case, I was hoping you would know what fix did the devs make such that the damage bonus only works for the specific weapon. Also in general, how were you able to check using the game codes whether an item enchantment would be universal or not? Like whether it would also affect your spells, or the weapon on the other hand. I also read that back then that some item effects persisted even when the item was unequipped afterwards (IIRC, duskfall?), how did the devs fixed this? Was it as simple as changing the string value of some StatusEffectComponent attribute?
  3. I wondering, are there any changes from the disposition system of PoE1 to PoE2? Like, other than Priest/Paladin classes, what significant effects does the Watcher's dispositions have? Normally, I like to play the utilitarian, pragmatic hoarder in these types of RPGs. I make my choices based on what gives me the most material benefits, be it in the form of unique items, additional stats, etc. It's like a hybrid of completionist/hoarder with a tinge of min-maxer. So, the real question is: what would be the most beneficial Disposition to have given my type of gameplay? I've read somewhere that you lose access to buffs like Nature's Resolve when you have a Cruel Disposition. For reference, I've mostly been Honest/Rational back in PoE1, but I dabbled in 1 point of Cruelty just so I could sacrificed Durance to the Blood Pool. Any advice would be really appreciated
  4. Is there a new method to reliably replicate the food bonus stacking? I've read about the topic several months ago so I don't remember much, except that the discussion was quite intense (do forgive me for not reading up before inquiring). Does it work like the drug stacking method where you take one, then save/reload, then take another? I have not tried any of these techniques so I'm purely basing what I'm saying on what I've read. Am I missing something that is specific to stacking food effects? Won't they clear when you consume a new food/drink?
  5. Does the shocking lash benefit from bonus PEN, say, like from Heart of the Storm passive? Similarly, does skills like Avenging Storm or the Storm Blows enchant from Boltcatchers benefit from Heart of the Storm?
  6. Hello, I'm relatively new to the game (and genre), and I'm thinking of making an Evoker/Helwalker multiclass. How were you able to reach a sumtotal of 78 points across all six attributes? Don't you start at 63 points at character creation? Also, how much better is Storm of Holy Fire compared to say, Minoletta's Concussive Missiles in terms of proccing the Least Stable Coil? And is it possible to copy the Storm of Holy Fire or Meteor Shower using Major Grimoire Imprint (via Grimoire) in a multiclass wizard?
