Spells were awesome in Tyranny Also the story and setting were amazing We need more evil CRPGs It's a shame it's only half a game Really sad they are never gonna make Tyranny2 now they got bought by Microsoft

Damn I've been using potion and acute inspiration together. Never realized they didn't stack.

Currently playing a SC ascendant on PotD I picked nature godlike I haven't found a truly OP helmet that makes me regret my choice and since I am ascendant I am already stacking power-levels Can't trigger the bonus myself, I have Xoti casting litany of body on me at the start of the fight. Also she casts litany of spirit so that's +2 powerlevels on top of everything else. I think nature godlike is only useful if you are playing pure casters and stacking PL If you are playing multiclass I don't think it's worth since you already gave up on powerlevel stacking And martials will benefit more from the helmets than powerlevels, they are only really useful for casters. The rest of the godlikes seem underwhelming

You lose super OP stuff like time parasite, reaping knives, and shared nightmare I just discovered an amazing synergy with ydwin as a pure rogue I give her reaping knives, she has 100% hit to crit conversion with gambit max guile, so she always crits, so she can spam it forever And you don't need survivability from lvl 13 on you just have perma barring death's door on with priest I feel like SC is underepresented on this forum, at least from the stuff I've read so far They are pretty OP in a party I guess on a solo multiclass should be better though

Is multiclass ascendant really that better than single class? I'm playing as SC ascendant, it finally cured my restartitis, and I'm lvl 20 about to do the DLCs So far it has absolutely destroyed everything on PotD upscaled Just open with kitchen stove and insta-ascend and then Xoti can prolong it forever with salvation of time Can't imagine multiclass being any better Don't you basically gimp yourself by being 3 lower PL?

I've been trying to finish a game for weeks now Always restarting and trying new builds I tried streetfighter/soulblade. The dps was insane but he was too squishy and it's hard to get the streetfighter bonuses running. I don't wanna rely on a priest to keep me alive. And I prefer characters that are self-sufficient instead of building the whole party to buff the streetfighter (priest for BDD/SoT and cipher to keep the priest with resources) I've already finished the game with a monk the first time so I don't really wanna play one again before trying new classes. And every time I multi an FF I'm always thinking yeah that's cool but if you were SC you would get better fist progression and the OP high level monk powers. I'm trying bloodmage/streetfigher now. It's easy to get bloodied with sacrifice and you can stay there with great defenses. My other option would be your build, not sure which one has more dps But I'm open to suggestions need an off-tank with good dps and defenses that can carry the team in PoTD upscaled since I'm playing with vanilla companions P.S. Reading the Dune series right now, what amazing books, I had no idea they were so good.

Playing a soulblade/streetfighter right now and was wondering what BB/SoT means I know SoT is salvation of time but what is BB?

Best of both worlds is Mirke Monk/Streetfighter to carry the early game And MC SC monk for the late game

What about pure FF with the level cap increased? Is picking a multiclass worth losing the extra fists scaling? You can reach absurd levels of fists scaling as a pure monk without level cap. Also why don't people recommend nature godlike which gives +1 powerlevel?

Thanks for your replies @Boeroer and @Shai Hulud. I noticed nobody mentioned Amplified Wave. Is it not that good? I remember it being one of the best cipher spells in PoE1.

I decided to make a bloodmage/psion to play the game. I have the community patch to make psion viable. However I have no idea which spells/powers to pick at each level. Any help would be appreciated.
