  1. When I first saw G22 I thought it would be neat to have an avatar in Playstation Home with it.
  2. Code can be any language, or pseudocode.
  3. I recently completed a programming Matlab for Engineering class and learned of the broad world of challenges programming has to offer. Those that play games, you know what it's like to find a challenge, defeat, and conquer. So in this thread the idea is to come up with a programming idea, see who comes up with the best code, and show off your skills. There are 2 challenges I heard from a friend who took advanced computer programming classes at some university, and he suggested 2 of them in which he did not get a decent grade(even though they worked). First challenge, write up code for a sudoku puzzle, in less than 70 lines of code. Second, write up a program that lets the user open a program like paint on the computer, draw a bunch of lines connected to eachother, and have the computer take some kind of form, and follow those lines like a maze going from start to finish, in under 70 lines. I honestly have no idea where to begin with these so I can't give you any hints. Post code here.
  4. I just beat it yesterday, left the room smelling like cat piss and tuna
  5. This is the first Obsidian game I ever owned, I'm one of those Playstation fanboys, and I do look forward to future releases, especially Fallout Vegas. What I like about this game are the choices. They aren't easy choices. It also leaves you questioning real life influences. Halbech seems close to either Microsoft, or the Bush Administration
  6. I bought Final Fantasy 13 for those same reasons... Never been more disappointed in a Square Enix game.
  7. How did you first hear about Alpha Protocol, what did it take to convince you this was a game worth buying. It seems much easier to bash a game these days in a review, than it is to find a good review. Did your opinion of the game change after you bought it? Myself, I read a great review on this game and that was the only review I thought I needed to convince me to buy. Afterwards I played it, and started wondering why it got such a good review, in fact I almost traded it in, then I came to this site and realised the potentially interesting and addicting gameplay I was so eager to trade in. Now I find more perfection than flaws. How do you feel? Do others opinions influence yours? Maybe not the best game of all time, but it definitely beats Uncharted(Worst game of all times).
  8. Not all reviews are bad by the way, in fact I would never even considered picking it up if it weren't for http://www.rpgamer.com/games/other/xbox2/a...ocolstrev1.html
  9. I agree here, the hacking system is fun and challenging. I like it cause the suspense feel behind it. When time is running out, you got this far without being seen, one slip up can result in a life or death. A major plus for this game.
  10. Haha your right RDR AI was stupid. In fact RDR did have sort of the same bugs Alpha Protocol had. I wish Alpha Protocol had some kind of evasion skill like dodging or rolling out of the way. When crouched behind a wall, there is usually some sort of lag before you can get out, and if someone tosses a grenade at you, all you can really do is pray. The fight with that Russian guy in the mansion(my way of refraining from spoiling) is so frustrating.
  11. I bought this game along with Red Dead Redemption and only really tried it today(week later). This game is fun, but definitely not the greatest game off all times(Red Dead Redemption is). I love this game as much as I hate it. SEGA has always released buggy products, and so I really wasn't expecting a flawless game anyways. Enemy AI seems to have been programmed by someone who just graduated 2nd grade, and got their degree from a cracker jack box. Inventive plots though, and I hope a trend forms from espionage rpg's,
