The only critics who's opinions ever make sense (PC GAMER UK) gave it an 81. Along with a well balanced and thoughtout article, and its a good call on their part. Alpha Protocol is a flawed gem, that i'm sure most people will appreciate playing. Not every critic has canned it and those that did should have a stronger look into their reviewing policy and writing staff for misleading their readers.

I don;t have tearing at all in Alpha Protocol...i'm on PC. If you ahve it on PS3 then Obsidian really should patch it for you pronto, and maybe increase the visual quality. No console should have tearing any game should be optimised for console to a point where output FPS is lower than TV refresh rate. All i can suggest is check your tv or ps3 output options. If you have a HDTV set it to 60 etc.

I would patch only a few things really but would be really disappointed if they didn't do something about them eventually. 1. Mouse stutter from frame rate drops and streaming levels. 2. Better camera for when the action gets to close quarters. 3. Crouch/Walk animation. Its just a bit weird all other animations are good or great. 4. Hacking minigame mouse control movement. 5. Walking toggle. (Mikey can walk as soon as he gets up at the beginning of the game, but never again if you are on PC)
