  1. Doesn't seem to change anything...just reworded a bid differently, and that Shaq didn't like the statement too well. Not that it really matters. In the end, where Shaq goes, I go.
  2. If Phil is gone, who should take up the reigns for the Lakers?
  3. All interesting developments, but the quote about trading Shaq was misinterpereted. It said trading Shaq is a possibility, if Shaq demands it.
  4. He's not going anywhere unless he retires. Going to a different team would be stupid.
  5. That Tylenol is some good shit.
  6. poor arkan is falling apart The foundation on which I exist is crumbling!
  7. I thought Sargy was wearing two baseball gloves when he first started typing the way he does. Now I don't have any problem understanding his gibberish
  8. Whoops...should have posted my last post in this thread...
  9. Now it's time for a game. What will the Lakers look like next season? I think Payton is gone. It was clear he wasn't happy in LA, and it was clear that he wants to be the leader of a team. Malone is a toss up. If they'd have won, I could see him retiring. He might come back and try again, however. I don't see any reason why Fisher would leave. I think he'll still be here. George will still be here. I doubt he'll be going anywhere. He contributed a lot during the season an in the playoffs, and he has a lot of potential. I think Luke is coming back Rush will probably stay, because they're desperate for 3-point shooting. Franky, I don't see Kobe playing for a different team...this is assuming all things go well in Colorado. Shaq is under contract, but they could trade him...yeah, and I could be his replacement. And I can't even make a guess about Phil Jackson.
  10. Yes, I've finally stopped vomitting. I'm not scared off, just because my team lost. It's happened before...like last season, or something. I hope this proves that I'm a real fan now!
  11. Who's a sore loser?
  12. beautiful couple of red xs you've got there.
  13. You're an idiot.
  14. Dung is right, hehe.
  15. It's a conspiracy! He' running up the score! Boo hiss!
  16. Well, crap. I suppose I'd feel worse about it if there was something I could do about it. But there isn't
  17. I agree. I'm just saying that the fair-weather fan syndrome is not unique to LA.
  18. Please. You see the effect of the fair-weather fan everywhere. How many baseball games have you watched and seen 90% of the seats empty? Same with basketball and football. Fans don't like to see their team lose so many except the most die hard of fans don't want to waste money on tickets.
  19. Almost game time! Come on, Lakers!!!
  20. I don't see why you think that. They just barely came back in game two, and have shown little signs of life other than that. I mean, Kobe did get shut down in two consecutive nights and one was a "must win" game for the Lakers. Even Shaq was stopped in game 3. The Lakers could have easily have been swept tho. If Shaq got more touches I'd say they would have a better chance, but if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. Thats just not how it happened. again, isn't that all the Pistons doing? They single cover Shaq but shut everyone else down. People, like Kobe, get frustrated and start taking bad shots. Bad shots piss everyone else off, and the frustration multiplies. I give all the credit in the world to the Pistons (it doesn't hurt that Malone is hurt, but they were winning with him healthy.). In fact, it almost seemed that when Kobe had a decent shot, he felt a phatom hand in his face from Prince hounding him. Let's face it, Kobe can be "hounded" out of his game. Bowen and to some extent doug christie have shown that. I didn't mean they are or might be still in control. I meant they could have been. Otherwise, I agree.
  21. I still submit it's not over until it's over.
  22. Sorry, buddy....we don't bakes no pies 'round hur. (I do, actually...would you like one? )
  23. What bothers me is that the Lakers don't seem to have a real game plan. Why, I don't know, but Shaq is scoring almost at will, so whatever. Very scientific, I know.
