This happened to me as well. Except it was after crashing and everyone's stuff was gone. And it spawned us back at our last re spawn set point with the backpacks having dropped back where we crashed. when retrieving the backpacks they were empty....Upgraded rolly armor grade 3 items. Lots of resources. just a bummer

Ive had a similar issue with Inventories being lost after game crashes. Upgraded armor and weapons just vanish after reloads. Backpacks being retrieved to have nothing in them. The rubber banding for non-hosts is horrible. This is one of the few games my wife, son and I play together. Having to start over multiple times only to progress to where we were and getting the "Crash erase" is a bummer. We had taken a break to wait for the official release and were very excited to see all the new content. So much progress just gone.

Same deal while playing with My wife some build items will disappear after adding the required materials. Makes team base building almost impossible
