Idk. There isn't one I guess. This particular moment stood out to me bc it's the main character who's responsible, there's a lot of other things I wasn't happy with. Writers don't seem to take r*pe seriously in general, two examples of it I can give are trickster punishment for Latverk and those minotaurs with the doppelganger in Camellia's quest. Most of the "heavy" stuff in WoTR feels unwarranted to me, I don't even know how to explain it. Just mindless violence used for shock value. It would be fine if the tone was consistent, but WoTR can be so comedic at times, the mood swings are too much. WoTR is simultaneously juvenile, naive and mean-spirited. There's no deeper meaning behind all the gore, it's just there. I've seen ppl say the edgy writing is intentional but like is it? Did I really have to read how that Azata dude wants to f*ck Arueshalae's eyeholes? Was it supposed to be funny? Again, she gets her fairytail ending after that, where is the consistency? Where is the cohesiveness? I've always laughed at ppl saying PoE was too dark now I know how it feels

Yeah but the person who wrote this **** is a human. Somebody sat down and thought "I bet the players would enjoy committing virtual sexual assault, better give them an opportunity to do that! It's absolutely necessary for the story we want to tell and not creepy or insensitive at all"

A question for all the Demon mythic path players: there's an option to use demon rage in dialogue with Vellexia in act 4. What happens afterwards is like r*pe right? I can't be the only one who saw it ://

My game bugged out and characters were moving through walls, if not for that and the guides I would never finish this quest, and Nenio is my favourite companion mind you.

Omg one thing I noticed about romances was how similar Lann's was to Casavir's from NWN2. The difference is the latter was written by someone who hated this type of content with the sole purpose of making it as unpleasant as possible, and Lann's is 100% legit. He literally says at one point "Let me protect you", "stay behind me during combat". First of all, what the hell? Second of all, buddy, you're an ARCHER. Calm down. At some point you get to talk about kids and if you choose the "grr kids bad" dialogue option, the game will keep triggering this exact same conversation until you say something else. Lol. Pretty basic overall but some parts were mighty weird.

The story is so bad I actually laughed a couple of times. Twists and turns are stupid and predictable, I have no idea why there are so many people on Reddit praising WOTR's plot and writing. And the writing is poor too, this game doesn't know how to handle more mature adult themes so it just throws gore and sex at you. Yawn.
