I have sort of the same issue. All my icons are showing in the wrong places. All the upper yard icons are in the pond and everything else is further down on the map than they should be. Below the hedge i have a few dozen icons off the map. My character also isn't showing up anymore.

Forgot to mention i had the quest "kill 5 Larva" but the larva i dug up didn't count toward this quest.

Since the newest patch several issues have risen. 1. Gas masks and Shields are slowly being damaged. I have several masks and shields sitting in several chests around the yard, all of them are damaged even thou i have never put them on or used them. None of them are in the Haze. 2. Everything i drop in my base falls threw the floor. All chests, furniture, etc are fine, but if i drop say a grass plank it falls threw the floor. My base is above ground at the oak tree. 3. All my saves now say "unknown location". It doesn't seem to affect anything but something i thought should be brought up. 4. All my furniture is slowly sinking into the floor. So slow i barely noticed, but i have to pick up each piece and place it back above the floor. These issues are on Xbox series X.

Found a new issue. Game just won't start. I click the Grounded Icon, it starts up, then drops to desktop. I've tried restarting my xbox series x, i tried redownloading game, game just won't start.

So after downloading the public test server, and it wiping over a month worth of progress i see today a new patch and hopefully my game is fixed. I find that my long lost saves are back, i begin to cheer, and i log in. Only to find ALL OF MY MISSION PROGRESS, ALL OF MY BUILDINGS, EVERYTHING I'VE BUILT, MY HOUSE WITH ALL OF MY STUFF, ALL OF MY SCIENCE POINTS, ALL GONE!!!! This is so much worse than before! I started with the loss of a month of progress, but now i've lost everything!

I've been playing since the game launched and had saves with 230 days on it. I thought i would download the Public Test Server and give it a try but i didn't realize it wouldn't be a seperate game but it would become part of my normal game. So i decided to be safe i would get rid of the PTS version and go back to the old version. The xbox test server page said unistall the game, reboot the xbox, then reinstall. i did all that now my saves have reverted back to around September 9 when i was at 180 days played. All my work over the last 2 months is gone! How do i report this or file some sort of claim? Is this fixable or am i just screwed?

I have now found a Hot Dog and an Apple by the Hedge. But the area by the hot dog wrapper next to the porch where they use to spawn i haven't seen them there yet. Yes all the juice boxes are showing up as found on the map. I've also been to each one seperatly, jumped around and on top of them if possible. And i've now seen how the feathers work, i would prefer it show up in the inventory like anything else you chop up but at least now i know to look for a small bag. Still no luck with ant eggs. i've killed tons but never seen any eggs in the hill. I've even been back day after day but nothing yet.

The main problem that i've had is the feathers disappear after i've tried harvesting them. I found two, hit them with the level two hatchet then nothing happens. The repair tool isn't working. The Juicy mutation isn't popping. I have found several ant eggs but it doesn't give me the prompt to pick them up. I can't go near the ant hill anymore. my screen lags so bad i can't move, i just have to try and turn around and go another direction. I saw alot of ants, more than ever before, maybe to many for the game to handle. When attempting to fight a Wolf Spider it will run in one direction and disappear if i'm not on the ground in front of it. Several minutes later it will respawn in. Grubs have a new sound. They pop up and make a LOUD screech sound. Not sure if it's intensional but it scares the crap out of me when it happens. I haven't seen a Hot Dog, Oreo, or Apple since the new patch.
