Made an outpost on the logs in that area, the knats are a nightmare. There should at least be some kind of torch you can light with bug off, lol. Cuz Everytime I go over there (built a bridge from it to the top of the wall to the berry bush/bird bath so I go there a lot) and just like with the ants not only is the amount annoying, but the lag is rediculous.

Same issue. Found out the ants were over populating. I went in and cleared it out, but when I reached near the entrance, they all respawned. Should at least be a day or two before they respawn, and not so many. Used to be able to just grab my ant armor and chill through the cave to get my quartzite. Now, aside from going in to get the new chip, I avoid the area of the hill.

I also get stuck in my bed when I respawn. So if I get knocked out I have to back track on my auto saves. Heck if I'm breaking my bed Everytime, those feathers are hard to find.

I also turned in my new Burg.l chips and got nothing. No new perks in the store or on my person.
