Not mass creating... I just had the same problem and on all the posts there was no response to the fix! Under advanced options there is a way to turn everything off or to low. And the game will load finally! Sorry for the multiple listing... I just wanted someone to respond! Lowering the resolution in my case did not fix the problem! I can load in 1600 X 1200 with all advanced options off. X

Ok... I got it to work finally! ON the advanced options... turn everything off and the other 3 options to low or off and it will load into the area! X

Did it just crash this once and you wondered why? Have you tried playing it again, or does it do this every time? I am hoping to bump this enough that maybe Obsidian is looking!!! Where is the fix???? This is obviously happening alot! I have this same exact problem!!! X

Because I don't have Linux, I couldn't try kepakiano's idea, however, inspired by this idea, I copied my savegame just before the Merchant Quarter (at the Iziz Starport) to my Kotor2 install on my Vista Laptop (from a Xp Desktop PC) and tried it. And it worked! Copied back my savegame, saved at the start of the Merchant Quarter to my XP computer, and everything worked fine. Problem solved. Just wanted to let you guys know if you had this problem, this is a possible way to fix it. I am working on finding the Saved files tonight... I need to try it on a different system and see if this will fix my problem! I have the same EXACT issue! I cannot get into hte marketplace. I have downgraded everything and it will not load! X

What exactly worked here??? I cannot get loaded into the market either!! I have tried anythign I can think of... it is quite frustrating!! X

My son has a similar problem! Says his system is not up to par basically to play and the game crashes everytime.... this is a strange bug!!! X

I have the same exact problem as the OP!!!! Anyone have a fix for this?? Did the OP get it fixed??? Please advise. Vista, 4 gigs memory 2.53 Intel Dual Core Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 I applied the patch and it still doesn't help me... I hope someone knows what to do. X
