  1. they should call it, kotor 2, tsl - a new hope (fan mod) lol. Either that or Kotor 2, tsl - repairing that pesky force wound.
  2. T3, although i'd be more partial to hk's meatbaggedness if his planet was done. Orange, because its one of the few that signify neutrality. (There is actually an array of color and meanings in the Jedi hand book, like 3 mean neutrality.) And I chose other powers, because I dunno about you *hand wave* but we all like Mind Domination.
  3. I use a hd 2600, and i get the same thing, as a matter of fact I got a post going about it. I think that it has nothing to do with pci-e, because with my x-1300 this game ran fine with frame buffer effects on. I do believe it is the HD series. I have a similar problem when playing games on my psx emulator (shh I never said I had one of those.) Anyways. You actually, because of having a much better card than I, have an extra option in your catalyst control center, that I dont. In your CCC, go into graphics settings > the click on the 3D tab, go to more settings, you should have an option for geometry scaling, or something or other. Uncheck it to see if it makes a difference. If it doesnt, don't worry, because that isnt what effects the blur effect (frame buffer stuff) anyways. But it could stop geometrical graphic errors from happening after videos. I am awaiting reply on the other post, so perhaps we will find out soon enough. Other things that might help... lowering AA to 0, lowers A filter to 0, turning off v sync. And if you want to just continue playing, and you can handle the rather unspectacular effects, just turn frame buffer off. Although with that graphics card, that must be hard to hear. checked my ccc and I didn't see it, meh, no biggie. but ya, i've been playing without frame buffer for a bit, it just isn't the same as before... I WANT COOL FORCE EFFECTS!!!!!1!! oh.., and interesting thing, is if I change the games AA and other advanced stuff, the texure quality, it alters the corruption a certain degree I know what you mean, its almost like these hd cards aren't meant for older games. Cause mine plays bioshock just fine.

  5. My appologies, I should have specified on the settings I use. INGAME - Textures = high anisotropic filters = 0ff anti aliasing = 0ff shadows = off grass = on screen res = 1280x1024 refresh rate = 60 (cant change that, using kds usa monitor, unfortunatly, its a very bad monitor.) framebuffer effect = on soft shadows = off vsync = off Catalyst Control Center - Everything is set on, let program control settings, except. Catalyst A.I. = Advanced Mipmap level = Maxed (lvl 4) More Settings = Support DXT formats = ON, and Triple Buffer = ON Hope this helps. Thanks for the reply.
  6. I am actually having a very similar problem. With Burst of speed aswell. Don't buy ati cards is not a viable option either. Neither is rolling back. As I have tried numerous older drivers and all the new ones. Its rather useless. The only solution is turning off frame buffer effect, which, I find very frustrating. Because this shouldn't even be a problem in the first place. I use a HIS HD 2600 xt Ice Q, I have 3 gigs of 800mhz kingston hyper X, I use a rosewill atx12v 750w power supply, good fans, 3.2ghz intel pentium dual core, ect ect. Other than my gfx card, I don't have bad computer hardware. And even the gfx card is optimal for the game. So I am just a little misunderstanding. At the end of the day, I guess I will just have to rely on another ati lover to mod a fix. Unlikely however.
  7. Guess what, I might have been talking to Bass - did you even click the link to see what it was before you posted your miss-informed posting? Anyways, you might want to try tweaking your graphics driver or disabling movies altogether. Also, what are your other specs? kk, my bad.
  8. Yeah, obviously you have no idea how useless and disorienting google is when it comes to solving graphics errors. NOT TO MENTION, that this forum is specified around kotor 2, so it only makes sense to post here, as obsidian, and others might, oh, I don't know, know about it? To Krelm: Yeah, I have had that problem too, not often. Usually saving and reloading clears it up. There are a few other things that could cause it of course, in CCC, in 3d options, theres a tab called advanced options, try messing with those. Great thing is, if the game messes up, its external, so you can always change it back. Updating could possibly be the answer, ati is pretty avid about updating their stuff. And that is a relatively new card you have. I myself use a HD2600xt, and have a graphics glitch when I use runspeed, and have found no fix, other than turning off frame buffer. Which sucks cause then when you go invis, it looks retarded. But, what can you do. Last of all, you may want to use a driver cleaner on any previous gfx card drivers you've had. Use this, http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745 Mind you, run it in SAFE MODE for the best results, it is VERY quick, and very easy. oh and Bass, x1950 is only for Radeon, and, sapphire only makes radeon stuff.
