THERE IS NO EPIC STORY THERE!! i agree with you on the fact that lotr is way better than eragon. it can't be fought. it is a great book (if not the greatest).

lord of the rings is pretty good. it was before my time though. so.. eragon is the lord of the rings of my generation. i've read all the lotr books (including The Hobbit). i've even read Silimalarion (i think that's how you spell it) and The Book of Lost Tales by J. R. Tolkien. They both blow!

Eragon is great fantasy literature. the movie sucks tit-balls. i'd loan you the books if i could... i guess you'll just have to buy them. =)
