  1. A request from the inimitable Paul Streifel: http://i30.tinypic.com/2vjsqqt.jpg
  2. I actually really enjoyed playing this. It was fun, although having the second boss in the game be the toughest one was probably a bad call.
  3. Yes, you should be able to stealth through almost all the missions. The knife is used for lethal takedowns, although it's not something you can equip and run around with; it's used automatically when you perform a lethal takedown. There are also nonlethal takedowns if you need to incapacitate someone without killing them. As far as gadgets go, you can get stuff like radio mimics, which cancels alarms if you accidentally trip one, the noisemaker, which can lure guards out of their patrol routes, different sets of armor and armor mods which are designed for stealth, as well as a number of activated and passive abilities that make it much easier to get around undetected. I'm sure that at some point we'll have a dev diary or a blog written up about stealth in more detail...
  4. You do have the ability to sell back weapons and items. It's in the clearinghouse, but you have to flip over to "sell mode" to get rid of stuff".
  5. You start with the tutorial and Saudi Arabia, then you have the choice to visit Rome, Taipei, and Moscow in any order you like. Then you go into the endgame. Our gameplay estimate is 20-25 hours.
  6. Sega has set up a Facebook page if you're interested in getting all the latest videos and previews and such regarding Alpha Protocol. You can find the page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Alpha-Protocol/106610087756
  7. You can customize Mike in a lot of ways, including hair, eyes, skin tone, beards, glasses, hats, and armor/outfits. If you're looking for Oblivion-style sliders to morph the facial features, however, then no, that's not something we've included.
  8. How's dis? Look rad, thanks!
  9. There are actually a number of missions that are "just" conversations, no shooting involved. Each hub should have 2-3 missions like that.
  10. Here's one from Giant Bomb: http://www.giantbomb.com/news/suiting-up-f...-protocol/1575/
  11. If anyone has time to fonk together my friend Vinny from Giantbomb, that'd be awesome. http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/27/10..._0930_super.jpg http://www.giantbomb.com/news/suiting-up-f...-protocol/1575/
  12. All I have is a Youtube link at the moment - I'm sure there'll be some high-res version of this on GameTrailers at some point.
  13. I don't have any more info on it at the moment. Sorry!
  14. I don't think it's something that we've discussed publicly yet. Sorry!
  15. Only discussed? Why? Just how hard is it to add already existing content to some PC versions of the game? It'd seem the only reasons not to deploy the bonus content to PC users are arbitrary ones. It's not your problem or area, but still, if it gets discussed at Obsidian that implies you guys actually have control over the decision. So what's going on there? That's an interesting extrapolation from me saying "it'll be discussed". This isn't something Obsidian can do autonomously.
  16. Note that if you're going to use them as avatars on here, you might want to manually resize them down to 90x90. The forum software will do this automatically, but for some reason they come out a bit blurry when they go through that process.
  17. One of our artists put together some neat icons/avatars for your various forum/twitter/Facebook/AIM purposes. Thought you guys might find them interesting.
  18. Was there ever a solution for getting DLC on a Steam install of F03? I enjoyed the game well enough but since I can't buy the DLC through Steam, I don't know how complicated it is to get it working.
  19. Trust me, I'm annoyed when I miss out on content solely because I play on the PC. I can't promise that this content will be coming to the PC, but I can ensure you guys that it'll be discussed.
  20. Currently the plan is to let you choose three, or you can choose a "class" and have three that play together well chosen for you. Hmm, I'm confused. Is this the current aptitude at the skill, or the upper limit? The upper limit. So before you specialize, all of your skills have a max rank of 10. After you specialize, that goes up to 15 for three of the nine skills.
  21. Asimov's fiction has always been a bit difficult for me to read. His memoirs were pretty good, though, and his nonfiction science stuff were pretty influential when they were current, in terms of getting kids into science. So, on the whole, yay Asimov.

  23. Because I know someone will post the link eventually, here's some info for you guys to chew on. Pre-Order Bonuses
