LS force storm hits harder than DS force storm (LS force storm is usually harder to save, due to Consular LS-mastery bonus, LS only items and force valor)

melee finesse works on light sabres?
Gothic90 replied to mr_raider's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yup. That is correct. -
Alright I think...I got your question. However, KSE is not a mod. It is a saved-game editor which does not need to be installed into the game. The only possible ways I can think of are a) you cannot download it. Maybe you were trying to download it from a site that KSE is no longer available. Go to http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/;68852 b) you fail to unzip it. download a new winzip or winrar c) you fail to open it. read instructions on the page in a).

It is to difficult to get them. The quality of items you get is related to your level, and you usually get those hi-level robes/armors after you are more than lvl 30, and it is difficult. You can install mods like enhanced merchants and Achilles's balance mod.

I second that.

Any Jedi class + Jedi Watchman use rapid shot instead because only rapid shot can enjoy Force Speed's extra attacks stun the enemy first then sneak attack for massive damage I prefer dual-pistol though My character was never a gun-jedi, but I always consider Mira and Atton using guns.

Speaking of Maris's lightsabers... Well, using tonfa is one thing, using tonfa-like lightsaber is something else. I doubt how useful they would be...

The Force Unleashed Vs The KOTOR's
Gothic90 replied to Bass-GameMaster's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well...if anybody wants an action game with great story...or D20 RPG with great action gameplay... he/she is usually asking too much. -
Well...bring balance to the force...the problem is, who says the order 66 is bad for the Jedi order? It got rid of all the mistakes, arrogance and ignorance within the order.

The thing is, the more useful (& cool) part of force jump is that you can jump & cover a distance, and that makes normal force jump & Master jump almost even. And, you can get a free bonus force jump on Thon's robe, which is in TSL's databank, available in a lot of mods, although if you play without mods you'll have to rely on your luck. Thon's robe also gives a free Force Focus, but Force focus is completely different from Master Focus. Actually for the skill part, you can max out your teammates' strong skills (i.e. Visas has high stealth, treat injury & awareness from the start, max them out) and let your teammates create upgrade packs for you. Of course you cannot create on Ebon Hawk in this way, but the workbench @ Nar Shaddaa docks, or Telos entertainment module is good enough. The point is, there are things in the game that you have to do them yourselves. Persuade of course--and it becomes much more important in TSL; Treat injury is always nice even with the existence of master heal, in the end a life support pack does much more than master heal. Awareness is also critical for some plots. You also need to repair T3 yourselves. Oh, that is impossible. 1000 skill points means 20 per level, you'll have to have around 30 base intellect to do that. Unless it is a weird mod or bug that I've never heard of....

I don't think this is the case, because in TSL there are Lightside quests whose first steps are Dark-sided, and It would probably be unfair to lightsiders if that were the case.

You can say the same about Force Focus. Plus Force Jump does not always work, whenever there's any obstacle, a tree, a teammate, an enemy between you and your target, anything, you cannot jump. Plus you cannot use your attack feats. Plus Force speed is always useful. And, guardians have too few skill points. In TSL skills are much more important than in K1.

No prestige class available. Being gray has its own advantage, but you'll have to give up the higher mystery of the force. Also I believe you'll need to have Visas in your party to get to prestige, so if you get to more than 20% dark/light off the ship, then talk to Kreia off the ship, I do not believe it'll work. In TSL since all class have the same base attack bonus, so anyone can be a good melee fighter. Even if you are Consular/Jedi Master or Consular/Sith Lord, you can be pretty good at melee fighting, though you focus more on the force. My personal favorite is Consular/Weapon Master, strong in both force powers & lightsaber dueling.

I think you'd have to be pretty careful in order to get both LS mastery & Hanharr. This is difficult, especially if you want his "lesson of Strength" and HK's influence. While for Mira it is simple. Just stay neutral before entering Jakk Jakk tar. I like Mira better. Maybe people think a psychotic wookiee is more useful but you have a several melee experts in your party, Mandalore, Handmaiden for male and Disciple for female. Don't think that a counselor cannot melee. Counselors still get full base attack bonus, so if you give him the right feats and some melee supporting force powers, he's actually pretty good. While Mira is a blaster expert (even if she is a Jedi. I would leave her in ranged mode, and use twin blasters as her main weapon and twin lightsabers as her secondary weapon) like Carth Onasi in K1. Free targeting and precise shot? Nobody else gets them. She's the best long-range firepower support in the game, and it is not bragging, it is fact. Plus she has force powers, a heal or a static field would sometimes be the exact thing you need. Well...Hanharr's lesson of Strength is something else. 2 Str+2 Con+1 Wis sounds a little too much bonus for being evil.
