What if we have 1 million teams? Maybe you all are a part of the team? Maybe i like to ask weird questions?
I think you're confusing us with your team of one million monkeys with typewriters.
We have one million typewriters with monkeys.

Alvin is correct. It is pretty close to a million.

I wish I had more votes. I would've voted for the Neo Geo.
Also check out the sweet avatar Jorian made.

I wanted to vote for the Turbografx but I think 360 still wins. I also think I'll change my vote to PS3 within 12 months.

Nevermorph Nights 2: Mask of the Facehugger

End of March that should say

Between the PS3 and the 360, 360 wins so far... I suspect my vote might change over the course of the next 12 months. I haven't tried the WII yet.
My favorite console game so far in this generation is on the PS3 though, Uncharted.

I'm looking forward to Mysteries of Westgate, GTAIV, Far Cry 2
I am looking forward to Purgatorio
The Purg team is hard at work, I promise!
End of the month there will be some exciting stuff happening.

About to finish Uncharted. Probably Turok or Devil May Cry 4 next. But after this round of consolification I'll probably go back to some Fallout 1 and 2

I am now convinced "sticky tape" is the one thing you don't want to run out of in the case of evil demon-thing invasions.
I keep some on me at all times.
Those demos are sweet.

But what does the creative lead do?
Creative Leads are the driving force behind story elements, characters, plot, etc. The Lead Designer can be the Creative Lead - they are not mutually exclusive - but separate people might hold the positions as well. For example, George Ziets was the Creative Lead on MotB and Kevin Saunders was the Lead Designer. A project might also have a Lead Systems Designer who is to gameplay systems what the Creative Lead is to story and characters. There is sometimes a Lead Level Designer as well, depending on the requirements of the project.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a blast
Aren't you supposed to be working on Purgatorio in your spare time?!?
Ha!
I do. But occassionally I have to stop working, and at those points Uncharted is lots of fun.

This of course means that to get beer developers has to come to my lair.
Are you a gnome?

I think it is very important that developers communicate with folks on these forums.
When it doesn't happen as often as it should it is not because there are more important things to do, but rather because there are too many things to do.

Congrats again for 'ol Monty. Heh, it's funny seeing him in the halls and at Christmas parties! Speaking of Christmas parties, good talk!

Double Edit - try saying "The wink smilie is so smarmy" seven times...

... as it was exactly one year ago
The module the Rogue Dao team planned a year ago bears only passing resemblance to the currently in production version of Purgatorio. For example, original plans called for no custom music or voice-over, currently the soundtrack is 3.5 hours long and all of the cutscenes will be voiced over. Another example, no custom creatures were planned, now there are going to be many. The length/breadth/scope in every area of production have been dramatically increased over the interceding year. The quality is also a lot higher

I had fun guys. I'll probably be on again tonight if anyone is up for some search and destroy (or team hardcore, but there are never many people playing that gametype).
-
Hey Ashercon I enjoyed it.
Quasi - You could theoretically do it by replacing the entire combat system with a new combat system laid on top of the old one and heavily modding the GUI. There are probably a few sticking points in terms of what scripting functions are available for GUI stuff. I'd have to sit down and take an inventory of what all is available right now to really know how feasible it is, but my gut reaction is you could do it with a lot of work and workarounds.
