  1. The most non-linear RPG ever has to be Daggerfall, but it is still one of the greatest games of all times. If you count out the bugs, that is. Graphic-wise it may suck compared to present-day data, but its atmosphere is 100 times better than Morrowind's. The sound effects of King Lysandus' ghost as you enter the city of Daggerfall at night still give me the creeps.

     

    And the first Ultima I remember playing was Pagan. Man was that great. What number was that in the series...

  2. As I already suggested in another thread, I'd like more differences in the way the game evolves depending on the class you pick (like class-only quests/dialogue options/etc for example).

     

    I'd also like more alternatives to combat in some cases to make non-Soldier characters worth playing. KotOR depends too heavily on combat IMO and really forces you to make a Soldier character in order to avoid the "died/reload/died/reload" routine. I finished the game as a Soldier and didn't die once, but as a Scoundrel I wasted many hours trying to defeat relatively easy foes.

     

    It is also a bit annoying how blasters and heavy armor really become obsolete later in the game, when you can make a party of 3 saber-wielding, robe-wearing Jedis that h@xx0r everybody and do amounts of damage that blasters could never do.

     

    And, of course: More Endings!!! :ph34r:

  3. I agree with the lack of swoop upgrades and bad inventory layout as mentioned above.

     

    One thing that also annoyed me is how the game pushes you to make a Soldier character, since the only real difference between the classes is that the Soldier wins fights more easily. I first played the game as a Scoundrel and had to die and reload millions of times until I finished the game, then played as a Soldier and honestly didn't die once.

     

    There should have been more differences in the way the game moves on depending on the class you choose (class-related quests, perhaps? I loved in games like Quest for Glory how thieves could do Thieves Guild quests, pick pockets, break into mansions etc, for example) and in some cases alternatives to combat for non-Soldier characters.

     

    I was also annoyed by the small number of possible endings. A Light side ending and a Dark side ending, nothing more.
