Hi Sorry you're having problems - I had a similar error message appearing which said to put the CD in the drive (it was already in) but when I pressed the 'cancel' button the game started anyway and played OK. Did you try doing that?

Hi I decided to do the decent thing as a light Jedi and gave them to the mother and children and the Republic spy ... I was tempted by the lightsaber crystal but didn't give in!

Hi I'm now on Onderon and wondering who to give the 2 open visas to. I am a light Jedi so I was thinking of the woman with children or the Republic 'spy' in the Cantina - are there any better candidates? I was tempted to get the lightsaber crystal but that is definitely a dark side matter methinks!

Hi You are not alone - I got that exact same thing too but didn't realise what it meant at the time. They just completely ignored me and I was convinced they were all going to try and fry me, but they just stood there! I too am now stuck not being able to get the droid chassis but I am so much further along in the game (my first time) that I can't face going all the way back to that point. I guess I'll just have to give up on that quest - how annoying! Good luck

Hi there Thanks for the advice - it was helpful because I hadn't thought about running around or away, although sometimes the other party members are extremely annoying and insist on staying to fight (and often die), forcing you to go back. But, nevertheless I managed to find some rooms that were empty and got to the Jedi which made subsequent fighting much easier - he's great! I'm now off the yacht and back on land having just slaughtered the Serocco - not so tough now eh!! I've also built a lightsaber - double bladed yellow - whoopee! I'm assuming I have to buy the parts and build others if I want to equip anyone else with one, as Visas for example doesn't seem to have one any more.

Hi I've made it to Goto's Yacht, I am now playing Atton and Droid but I am really struggling not to get killed every fight, and they are getting just slaughtered by the star commander droids - if there's more than one of them they've had it in about 10 seconds. Any tips on how to do better here? I've not been able to activate some of the programs on the command consoles as I don't have enough computer spikes and I'm getting fed up! Any tips anyone can offer?

Hi again I managed to change the party at last, by going out and in of the Ebon Hawk, it seemed to reset the game so it allowed me to change things. I'm further on now, constantly dying as Mira trying to fight too many opponents and failing ...!

Hi and thanks for the welcome! Yes I think it must be a glitch too - I'll see how far back my last savegame was, as I don't think I'll be able to survive and complete any quests with much fighting in with my current party! Thanks for the help

Hi I'm new to KOTOR, not having played the first one, but I'm really enjoying KOTOR 2 so far, once I'd got the hang of the controls and managed not to get killed in every fight My question now is, I want to change my party but the game says it won't let me 'at this time'. I'm not in the middle of combat or anything like that. I'm on Nar Shaddaa and after getting Visas as an ally I changed my party and put her and Bao-Dur in, tried to give them good weaponry and stuff but they both seem to get killed within 10 seconds (this is in the fight with some thugs in the refugee sector), and also are terrible against the Serroco who slaughter them in no time. I then returned to the Ebon Hawk to try to change my party back to Kreia or Atton and the Droid, who all fight pretty well, but the game won't let me. Is this a glitch and am I stuck with my new party or is there a way to force the game to let me change my party? I still don't have a lightsaber either, although I've got 2 of the 3 parts now, it has seemed to take ages to get this far and I really want to get my lightsaber in use! Thanks for suggestions!
