How are rangers in the current version of the game? Heard they sucked at beginning but are they back on par with dps? Gonna go chanter tank and fighter off tank Priest, ranged Cipher, wizard Can't decide on 6th, ranger, barb look like options. Was gonna go golden dragon barb but not sure if 2 offtanks is to much

Boereor My party setup is as follows Paladin (counsellor ploi) tank Barbarian (golden dragon) Priest healer/buffer Wizard (glass cannon) Ranged Cipher cc/debuff I'm wondering if a fighter or druid would b best option for my 6th. Or any other suggestions. I'm guessing some kind of off tank would be best for the front line. Looking at lady in pain fighter spec or bats**t druid disable build. Chanter is also an option as dragon thrasher. Would love your input on this, then I can concentrate on the game instead of forums hehe

Restarting due to game crash, stuck between choice of tanks(if can call them tht). Needs good duo. Paladins seem good but low damage puts me off eventhough awesome buffs. Monks struggle if not getting hit, which can b quite often, chanters I heard were quite passive. Fighter and barb (pain in the tank as tanker spec) and golden Dragon seem good options. Can someone advise on Thier tank experiences please and some good builds tht work well together. I know pure tanks don't really work now as they need dps Aswell Thanks

Are custom characters only really needed on Potd difficulty? Debating whether to have fill custom group or use companions. Playing on hard at the mo. I'm also debating changing to Potd difficulty as I die when overwhelmed on hard but it's about learning and sometimes best way to learn is on hardest difficulty. Playing on ps4 and find it frustrating that I can't change angle of camara to see engagements better. Tempted to buy for pc, is the pc version much better control wise with mouse and keyboard? Thanks

Yea think I meant dex. But mainly con I'd lift a bit for few lvls. Do you have a ranged Cipher build? Or a tank ish frontline monk? Seen few builds but none that jump out at me. Thanks for reply. Love your guides

Is this build still viable in the current game? But maybe put con and res up a little bit early game? Might b my MC to go alongside dragon thrasher chanter(or paladin) depending on what u suggest. With wizard, Cipher, priest and either a ranger or druid

Just started tank of pain build, looks really interesting. What would be a good main tank option for this guy, as this looks like will be my off tank (should I dual wield vs bosses) or when tanking isn't needed. The buffs a paladin tank bring look good but not sure if Thier the best for getting agro or whether the barb golden build would b good with ACC reducing shouts. Thanks

How do you unhide just the tank characters first? Also is a tank/dps hybrid the best option rather then a main tank. The solo map, any char with sword and shield takes forever to kill mobs. Wandering if http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/80748-class-build-lady-of-pain-high-speed-heavy-armored-dps-fighter/page-11?do=findComment&comment=1849222 Is better option alongside https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83491-class-build-the-drakes-ambassador-searing-mesmerizing-chanter-tank/ or http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/89991-class-build-the-golden-dragon-barbarian-tank/. To me it seems a tank is best character to play as running around in full party in the leadership spot at least I'm nearest to any mobs engaged. Or would ranger/ranged Cipher b good option, to shoot/cc from afar on initial pull

For characters to hold the frontline and keep mobs away from the ranged, they obviously need to survive and keep mobs engaged. It seems low con and resolve help keep agro but also lower survivability. I'm confused as what stats to aim for per party member Thanks, low con high resolve. Or high con low res? Surely I require at least one of these high. But not sure if enemies will still ignore me Or build all party members similar, but then they'll still ignore the heavy armor front liners. Any advice on how to build a party stat wise would be great Party comp I'm looking at is..... Priest, druid, wizard, Cipher (all ranged/ caster). Chanter tank and other tank I can't decide. Thanks

So far in just the first section of the game on hard difficulty. Played till gilded Vale as monk and barb, they seem to ignore me and go for the other char(can't remember her name). Which makes me think putting Con at anything above 10 and resolve the same will make it hard to gain agro. Eventho they are the tanking stats. Seems all chars need some defence and not have a specific tank anymore?

I'm guessing low con and res, mean that tanks can hold agro better, just not have as much survivability. Also is sword and shield needed? Thinking of it on a chanter as off tank (possibly main tank) and a fighter or paladin as the other one dual wielding? Maybe. Although if monk is fun as tank could try that
