Almost done with Pillars of Eternity 2, I believe. Just want to wrap up a few more quests, get some more achievements, and that's it.

[Why are Aloth, Eder, and Pallegina all low levels?]

 

Well you can get a lv 20 Pallegina if you recruit her at level 20.

 

It's just a gameplay mechanics, don't think too hard about it.

 

I wouldn't call it game play mechanics so much as game balance.  The game wouldn't seem very balanced if your starting character had a level 15 (or whatever it "should" be at the end of PoE1) Eder at your side.

 

Pretty much this.

 

Any other game company would do this. They should do this. It only makes sense to make sure that you don't have an over-powered character from the start.

I'm attending a Memorial Day service at the VFW in a few hours. I hate dressing up but I'm not buying on of those "uniforms" they like to sell there. When I turned my rifle in I was done with uniforms too.

It's understandable. 

 

I know that there are many soldiers who are so done with war that they're anti-war.

 

Hell, if I'm not mistaken, many vets voted for Gary Johnson and William Weld because they were anti-interventionist.

 

Compare that to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, who are both warmongers.

I'm really glad that there's a wiki. This game series has a huge amount of lore to it and I'm looking forward to Pillars of Eternity 3, even if I haven't completed Pillars of Eternity 2 yet (I'm almost done with it BTW).

I honestly don't care that much. It's just for the gameplay. They can't be too strong, or else that would be an unfair advantage.
