  2. Hi There, the upgrades , heavy draw and decisive shot, of the war bow "Saint Omaku's Mercy" is bugged. It should give a -20% action speed instead it gives a +25% action speed when equipped. Regards Dracdrac
  3. Hi Thelee, thank you for you're advices. I made a Beguiler/ Trickster and i love it. Its fun and effective. Both in DPS and in CC.For the sec dps i made a Spell blade. I choose Assassin and hope with the utility of a wizard i can make stealth attack work for me this time. I also did not know about the spell Ancestors memory. I normally skip this because i didn't actually knew what it did. I'm sure going to try this on my Spell blade. To bad that sneak attack wont apply on magical attacks . Have you any advice for Grimoire on this Ranged DPS Spell blade? Again, many tx!! Dracul
  4. Hi there, im planning a new play true and are starting theorycraft my new group composition. There are 2 spots in my group i cannot define yet. I hope you have some thoughts how to fill in these roles. My Framework: - I like the group formation: 2.1.2 (2 tanks in front, support in the middle, 2 ranged dps) - I prefer fun game mechanics over max dps My Current group design: Role: Main Tank Role: Off Tank Sec Role: AOE DPS Sec Role: AOE DPS/ Sustained ranged DPS if necessary Pref Clas: Arcane Knight Pref Clas: Battlemage Subclasses: St Elga/ Enchanter Subclasses: Black Jacket / Unbroken/ Evoker Role: Support Sec Role: Off tank/ DPS/ Healer/ Buffer Pref Clas : Universalist Subclasses : Fury/ Pries of Wael Role : Ranged Crowd Control Role: Ranged DPS Sec Role: Ranged DPS Sec Role: ? Pref Clas: ?? Pref Clas: ?? Subclas: ?? Sub Clas: ?? Question: As you can see i need help defining my back row. I'm thinking of a Mindstalker or Inquisitor on my left flank and a Scout on my right flank. There is some nice synergy between deceptions spells and sneak attack. So far the Arcane Knight, Battlemage and the Universalist have proven to me they are vital in my group composition. But when finding the ultimate back row ranged dps twins, i keep failing and failing. What i hope to find is a setup of 2 members who synchronise so well that 1 + 1 = 3. Perhaps you have some nice new ideas i can try or will inspire me. Regards Dracul

  6. So far i made an nice war machine party. But one member is underperforming in this party. This is my healer. I build a party on the 2 Melee/ Tank , 1 healer and 2 ranged dps. For the healer i made Paladin Priest. Focussed on healing. But during my play true i found out that she basicly did nothing because there is nothing to heal. She was a decent 3th tank if i needed it, but despite the reasonable perception and dexterity her War bow dps was very mid core at best. Here priest buffs where nice but nothing more. I am a looking for a build that can heal if i need it, but has more ranged dps and good ranged burst dps. Needs to have some survivability when acting as 3th tank. As she will stand in the middle of the party, aura's or chants are a big plus. So far i am thinking about hybrid of chanter, druid, pries or paladin. Where the paladin/ priest (Eothas) combo is to unattractive with the current difficulty settings. Can you give me some ideas and inspiration which classes or hybrids are better suited for this role?
  7. I think the Arcane Wizard deserves a bit more credit then described by marc5477 Besides uber tanking it also has great AOE damage potential. And ability to change that in a second makes that this is a great tanking / AOD dps build. Inspired beacon followed up by Torrent of flame and/or Minoletta's Precisely Piercing Burst is devastating. With this build you are prepared for the worst but when fights are (to) easy, you can give a huge AOE punch. And with the dog Nalvi you get a nice 17% recovery bones ( on heavy gear) witch makes the single Melee dps a bit tolerable. Playing this build gave me the real Tankadin feeling. Find urself the Grimoire Lengratsh Martial Masteries so you wont spend to much on spells.
  8. IMO the Swashbuckler does a a amazing job for slaying the back ranks. Charge gives huge mobility, and rogue abilities kill or disable quick. My Swashbuckler also was my off tank, so was able to keep the back row busy if I wanted so. I preferred this style over just one long ranged dps like. But i wonder with the new enhanced difficulty patch if the survivability will hold. if it becomes a problem, i have to switch back to far ranged dps. This all being said, i wonder like the poster what is the addition value of a Mage slayer compared to a Swashbuckler?
  9. Hi, i made a Arcane Knight. With high res and low cons. I think it was around 8. The idea was that i could buf my con with "Infuse With Vital Essence" if i needed extra health. In practice i only did use that on low levels. Later on you don't need the medium cons. ( BTW low cons is easy to repair with +3 an +2 cons on belts) Overall i must admit that a Arcane Knight is a excellent tank from the beginning of the game until end. Early game you buff urself for survivability but from mid game till end i focussed on AOE damage with spells like "Torrent of Flame" and "Minoletta's Precisely Piercing Burst". The paladins "The Shieldbearers of St Elca" are great tanks on its own. I find out that the Enchantment Wizard is very complementary to that class. It also gives you nice utility. Because i had a low Con and low Perception build and therefore hight Might/ Resolve/ Intellect) the AOE damage was great. Mid game i stated to solo engagements with this Arcane Knight and was impressed with its performance as a tank first and AOE DPS. Overall a fun / strong class for Tankadins. PS: I also had to repair my low Perception with the spell "Eldritch Aim" and later repaired it with gear.
