Seething with rage because I can't be bothered to read quest dialogue REEEEEEEE

I just started a new game and for some reason this time around 70-80% of the ground has the red circle with a line through it when I hover my mouse even though I should normally be able to move there. It makes the game completely unplayable.

No option to shapeshift in custom AI settings, and you can't set the shifter to use shifted abilities (like bear roar/ wolf knock down). Also since the latest patch my fanatic will no longer use rage on his own, despite nothing changing in his AI settings.

I went to ori o koiki for the crookspur quest. Payed the bribe, then explored and went in the cave entrance in the back. I went through all the quest dialogue, and when I was ready to go to crookspur I found there was no exit back to the world map. Tried resting/ reloading save/ restarting game with no luck. I tried to attach my saves but they were too big to upload...
