Yeah, that was....weird. What gives?

For those of us who don't live and die by cRPG-related news, what exactly is being done to the new Wasteland to make it so horrible?

Oh, yeah. Chatting on IRC while drunk is awesome. I actually make less typos while drunk, because I take three times as long checking over my work before I press enter.

Pretty wide tastes here...I tend to stay away from country, rap, reggae....um, the 'new rock and roll' that came out with Limp Bizkit and stuff. Other than that.... I like the Chilis, and John Frusciante's solo work the best, I guess. I'm also getting into some European bands via a few Swedes that I have been talking to on various forums. now playing: Rolling Stones - Paint it black

This whole forum is getting repetitive. Given enough time, the 'big posters' find their way into all the big threads and turn it around into an insult match. If I didn't know any better, I would swear they were working together to hijack everything and make it into a flamefest.

Yeah, I was there all day yesterday...it was just me and Johnny. And sometimes just me. Bleh. No fun at all.

I agree that people need to cut down on the amount of bitching and complaining that seems to be going on, but about the devs...I mean, this place has only been open a week. Just because they haven't posted up a storm in the short time it has been open doesn't mean they are 'afraid of their own shadows'. If in a few weeks or so we still haven't heard anything from them, then I'll agree with you.

More twisted logic. So devs shouldn't ever ask for fan input, because then they are cheating you out of your money? How does that make any sense? Give me a break. When the devs ask for input on a game, everyone always thinks how cool it is that they actually get a say in a game. No one thinks 'Crap! I am getting screwed!'. @Mega: Yeah, he does seem to tend to ignore some people that disagree with him. But for the most part he seems to respond to any problems people have. *shrugs*

I can't believe someone twisted Carsten's fan interaction into meaning SSE has no creativity and needs the fans to design games for them. Wow. If a company doesn't listen, they get flamed for not caring about their fanbase. And now if they DO listen to the fans, it's because they have no creativity and they are too lazy to design their own games, eh? That makes total sense.

I don't play MP in cRPG's, that's not why I buy them. I play for the SP part of it, so I would say no. But if people want it, then I don't really care. I just won't use it. As long as the SP part of the game doesn't suffer because of the dev time devoted to MP, I'll be happy.
