  1. Steam comment.

Who cares about the sales? just be greatful that such an amazing game exists. If we are greatful for the game then there will be a PoE 3. The kickstarter was so successful for this game, there will be a 3. Likely a kickstarter as well. I cant wait to throw tons of money at obsidian again. This one certainly delivered and strengthened my trust with obsidian for making games. They havent sold out yet, despite people complaining about their games. I admire Obsidians endurance, love every game they made, and hope to love every game they make in the future. The video game industry would be so much better if other devs made games they want instead of listening to random people. Sadly the money isnt there for that ideology. A game now a days gets payed for being generic and repeating the same mechanics as other games. Dont listen to anyone but yourselves Obsidian. thank you!!!

    ^Agree. Thanks a lot . Waiting PoEIII

  2. We can have ships, but not as main focus.

    And no pirate focus, please!

More dark fantasy with dragons, spells and magic beings.

I would like to have a Fortress in the bay of a continent, with the ship being a side-mechanic to explore side quests in small islands near the continent of PoE3. I already lost my Caed Nua, don't take my ship!

    ^ Totally agree.

-Maybe create your own small: dukedom / city, looks like in Pathfinder: Kingmaker

  3. To early.

I want more: dlc content (items, companions, stories) in Deadfire ;)

but 100% if i see announce PoE 3 i throw my money

    also:

    Create your own Dukedom.

It will be great! looks like in Pathfinder: Kingmaker where you can build a city "_"

  4. -- PoE allows you to reach level cap far too early, and this is a huge minus for the game. I want to have at least the option of being able to develop. (Mind you, not all of the demigodly powers you eventually get in BG2 are that great, but it's a lot better than simply stopping to develop two thirds into the story.)

-- Thanks to the enchantment system, nearly all items in PoE are disposable, and there's basically nothing in the shops that you'd want to buy. Persistence and Tidefall are among the very few items you really care for, whereas BG2 has a lot of stuff you treasure. It also has a lot of stuff that you want to save your cash for. Money is almost completely meaningless in PoE.

    This^

Fix it in next dlc / big path ;] i hope

Sorry for my English, not a native language

Magran's Fires Challenges - It's great, but my opinion, need focus - more: story, items, lands, ships

    Just one remark:

Awesome companions with personal quest, and we again see achivments "play solo" - it's stupid no? (ok, maybe for some one - its a fun, ok, but achievements...?)

I glad to see "basic" achivments, after PoEI (finish quest-tine, kill dragon, reach max. level)

Agree, PoEII need achivments like: "Complete the game on Expert, Trial of Iron, and Path of the Damned with"

    But solo game...I can't accept this :/

It's okay! Speaking/understanding a foreign language is hard.

So you don't like the solo achievement because you like the companions?

While I also like having companion quests (and everything else companions bring to the table), Solo challenges are a longstanding tradition in gaming, and having a couple of achievements tied to them is also fairly traditional.

Only really matters if one cares about a 100% achievement result in your profile.  And even then it should be just one play through to nab the Solo ones.

Mostly though, Solo achievements are around for the challenge aspect.  It should be especially interesting in this game considering how many skill checks are centered around having companions assist you.

I played 101h.  - its fantastic game! Environment, voice acting - pure gold.

~(One thing - Sadly i wish see island in snow - magic anomaly or something else)~

After ending, I want to play more, but move forward. Now sit in: "Hachi- mode" and wait DLC

Ok, go to the point. I hope, you understand me :D

Finished game twice and complete 100% achievements. As i say before, I want to move forward in story line.
Game beautiful! Complete full storylines / sidequest / achievements  - my goal.

Now, I see this topic and thinking: "I not want play solo fast run only to do achievement"

I gladly complete one more full game run to do achievements with Magran's Fires Challenges but with companions (maybe with new companions who know) Сhoose another dialogue options and solutions which I did not take earlier.

    No hate, just small opinion
maybe sometimes, i finish solo run but it's not be fun for me ofc.

    Thanks for reading o/

  9. Higher levels for the sake of just keeping the leveling going is not a good idea. The system works fine the way it is now. Personally I like hitting the level cap and still having things to do so I can have some fun with my high level abilities.

    Not just keeping.
Ok. Now game it's to easy.
I use auto attack and sometimes heal spell's (path of the damned) NPC die fast and not be a threat.
+ a lot of not complete quest's and now, just lost interest doing side quests - 0 rewards ( Loot? Oh wait, i alredy kill npc - use only auto attack. Expirience - sorry, limit)
I suggest increase max. level + boost NPC after player reach 20 lvl  :)

Not necessary create 100 level's or somthing like.
I believe, game still can played great if max. level will be 30 (yes, Obsidian must create new spell, or passive talat's)

too much experience - just gone.
  10. Hello all!

First: - Sorry for my english. (it's not native language)

    Second - I think level-cap very low.

    Thirdly - it's just my opinion ♥

In my journal >12 quests, not complete: Main story, Vailian Trading Company, Principi, Huana, Royal Deadfire Company - questline, and minor quest's (this game is huge @_@), but my level 20...it's very sad.

I tend to do everything else before touching the main quest.

    Maybe 20lvl - this hard ballance concept i don't know :/

It's just my fantasies ~ maybe next big path we get higher level cap?

Yes - next DLC can increase level-cap, but, would be great add 2+ lvl now, because - lost interest  doing side quests and get move forward, looks like - game stop you .

Maybe keep excess XP for next DLC

    UPD:

-Player reaches 20-lvl and NPC get more stronger?)

    (game very easy) it's truly

-Will be great add opportunity to change some hair style/color and etc for main character - like mirror in Lady Vengeance (DOS2)

    Yo Ho Ho! o/
