  1. It would be nice to become Dark Lord Scion's apprentice, but that will set loose too many variables. I'm under the impression that either you're LS in TSL, or you're dark jedi who chooses no one and work in secret by making the Sith Lords fight each other (and the republic) as you conspire in order to gain power. Too bad this DS-solution would surely require a moment of redemption a la "the temple summit".

Well, the "Choose no-one" thingy has always been present in Lucasarts star wars games, (JK, KOTOR 1, JA...), bit I hope - or rather wish - that they'll do things differently just once or at least leave the choice open to do so.. :/. But to be a conspirating Sith Lord like Darth Sidious, playing out both your enemies and allies against each others would also be cool :D.

  2. Quite a good theory, that! :(. Some of that could indeed prove to be true, even if we won't know for.. *checks calendar*... err, at the very least between three and a half month to four months :).

But I hope that Sion isn't our only choice of a Sith Lord to join if we can indeed do this. I'd like us to be able to join forces with one of the Sith Lords as Darksiders, but I'd also like us to have a choice of whom of them to join in that matter. But if there is only one, then based on what we've heard so far, Sion seems to be the most likely one we could get to join.

Hmm, if we can join a Sith Lord, I'd really like to see some "Sith versus sith"-battles in KOTOR 2.. =D~~~~~~~.

  3. At character creation, would you like a general roadmap of background choices like what planet you're from; parents alive or dead; etc.  Nothing particularly to give away future story outlining, but general ideas that would be tied into the character development further down the game to explain certain events and motivations.

Ah, that would be interesting indeed, through not really necressiary IMHO. The more important thinfs would be how you can develop and change thigns through the whole game and then have an ending either for yourself or the whole galaxy/party/whatever depending on what you did in the game. But your suggestion sounds cool for soem purposes; for example, if the main chara we were playing was from Onderon, he'd know certaint higns about Onderon and also be known among people there to a certain extent...

  4. I think things should be keept to a trilogy at most... But I wouldn't mind if they released first a KOTOR 3, then released a "KOTOR 4" about the events before KOTOR 1, letting us play through the game as Revan again, with people like Malak, Saul and others at our side - if they applied some alternative endings to it plus the ability to turn people to good and evil, it'd be a game worth to play, not just an old story, so to speak :).

  5. I think that the Force Jump feat should stay with the Guardian. TSL is a new game based off an already established engine and rules. The change you request will not happen. Nor in my opinion should it happen. The Guardian is the lightsaber expert, I do not see Consulars or Sentinels doing such a move.

As for the associated prestiege classes, I they follow this route:

    Guardian--Jedi Weapon Master, Sith Maruader

    Sentinel--Jedi Watchman, Sith Assassin

    Consular--Jedi Master, Sith Lord

That may be how the course would naturally go, but I believe that it has been said that you don't need to be a consular to become a Jedi Master or Sith Lord. Which makes sense to me...

  6. and just saying we could resurrect him what would his purpose be? DS = ALLY, LS = ENEMY, DS AND LS = ENEMY, vice versa? wouldnt lucas arts be all over it? (i dont know much about the eu so im just wondering)

Gee, I dunno, really. If he were an ally, he could give you soem advice and/or teach you soem new things. And as he becoems the Shadow Ruler of Onderon, you'll also have his support from there. Or if only his ghost form can be brought back, you might hear him prophetsy of your destiny or something like that, as he did first time he appeared. If he's an enemy and you're a darksider, through, you could absorb some of his power/knowledge by defeating him and thus gain a few more new abilities. As if for if you're light side.. I'm not sure... ;)

  7. Hmm, I don't know if I like the idea or notm althrough I don't know the story you mention.. but I wonder if it'd really go? Hasn't the idea of "dark side users want to resurrect a Sith Lord" already been used in JA?

Not that it'd dislike seeing it; it'd be cool if there were other evils than the Sith only popping up here and there who wants to gain power or just cause trouble now that neither the Republic nor the Jedi are there to stop them (and the sith probably wouldn't care unless one of the groups became a serious threat). And it'd be cool to resurrect this Freedon Nadd if it's indeed possible to do so. But I wonder how usuable the idea is...

  8. Luke never really liked Leia in that way. I am saying that our PC should stay away from love and focus more on an apprentice. No wooing or anything like that. I am saying they should stick to how the Jedi view love: forbidden.

True that Luke wasn't really fond of Leia in that way, althorugh he seemed to me to have a crush on her in the first movie ;). As for the others, why should our main chara stay away from love? The Jedi council isn't around this time and the main chara is basically a "Fallen Jedi", meaning that he/she went against the Jedi Council together with Revan, Malak and many more, through he/she wasn't one of those who became evil as far as we know. Thus I don't think he/she'd feel like following the old rules... Sure, the choice should be there for if you want to play the "die-hard monk"-type, but otherwise I see no reason for it. IMHO the rule that forbidds love is ridicilous (I share Jolee's views on that subject..)... And also, I think I remember that Bastila said that it isn't really "forbidden", but it is something very frowned upon in the Jedi Order so technically, you CAN love, but you should expect lots of trouble in that case (if the Jedi Council is around, that's it :p).

  9. Their should be a romance between two party members instead of your PC and a party member. It would be like this: you are luke while Han and Leia are falling in love. I think that would be cooler.

Not sure if I'd like that . I'd not mind a rival, but Luke didn't have much of a chance to win and even if he had, I doubt the relationship'd have survived once they became aware of that they were twins <_<.. but he point is that if there's gonna be something like that, I want to be able to win, not just stare dumbly at the two of them or try to wooh er all in vain since she has only ears/eyes for the other one.. <_<

  10. Ever wonder why, if Revan's Sith Empire is only 5 years old or so, is there a Korriban academy with three generations of Sith (Jorak Uln, Uthar Wynn, Yuthura Ban)?

They seem pretty well set in their ways for some folks that just got started.

    What's the deal?

Were there other pre-existent Sith that sided with Revan?

How did he and Malak become Sith anyway? Maybe we'll find out in KOTOR2...?

Well, around that time, wasn't the Sith an everyday threat, then? Exar K got defeated just a number of years before the appearence of Revan and Malak, but that didn't mean that all the Sith were defeated, right? In other words there was probably still a lot of them around even before the appearence of Revan and Malak. It'd be interesting if one of the Sith lords revealed that he/she had trained/taught Revan or Malak before they became what they became...

  11. True. But Yuthura Ban was shortsighted into believing that you might not betray her.

I'm not so sure.. She knew about the possibility, of course, but she apparently throught it was a better shot to risk it rather than not. After all, she probably knew that Uthar was one way or another going to make short work of her soon... Well, better an uncertain death than certain death, right?.

  12. All too true; the statement that "Malak defeated you" doesn't count at all. If it had been in single combat, yes, but otherwise, never. Malak probably striked at Revan from afar because that he feared that otherwise he'd never become Dark Lord of the Sith, Revan was simply too strong for him...

  13. Shy...that's what we need, no arrogant, no out of place, no rebeliousness, well maybe we need a little of that....

Heh, you mean kinda like a more submissive, much less self-confindent queen than Leia or Amidala ever was? :). But actually, that would work. It'd be eaiser for us to infludence her then, in a way... since you're more experienced in a whole lot of stuff and a good leader as well, she turns to you for advice since she knows that because of her ties to the royal family (if there is any ties), she may one day come in a postition of power, thus you infludence her to believe that you either need to rule with a "peace-and-justice"-policy, or an "ironfist"-policy? :D.

  14. I would haved liked it if after I conquered Korriban, the sith on like Manaan wouldnt be so idiotic.  I would have liked it a lot if I could just kill everything on Korriban... lol.

Heh! Yeah, it'd have been nice if ther had been some change of attitude among the Sith after you cleared Korriban or something else... But alas, it isn't like that. But in KOTOR 2, maybe, just maybe, your actions will have a greater effect on the reactions of both enemies and allies of yours...

  15. I found it hilarious that the Sith that DID in fact recognize you as Revan were just as stupid as the everyday grunts. In case they weren't aware, there have been stories spreading about Revan's power dwarfing other force-wielders, even Malak. To think they had the audacity and stupidity to attack me and TWO other Jedi required a suspension of disbelief.

Yeah, in cases like this, it feels kind of ridicilous. They often explain it away by "We serve Malak", but I ask you since when have Sith been known for being foolishly loyal when clearly out-numbered and out-powered?
