Thank you both. I was just considering about the confusion in case I combined with either Sacred Immolation or the Dragon thrashed. Being able to refill my own zeal by killing cheap beckoner skeletons throughout the battle sounded interesting.

Have you considered Barbarian Berserker? Tenacious, recovery time, and a bleed/staggered from frenzy. Bloody slaughter hit to crit increases. Bloodlust increased action speed, and bloodthirst instant recovery. I've seen some pretty nasty combinations with Frostseeker.

Does anyone happen to know if virtuous triumph can proc off of confused kills? For example, if playing a herald can I kill my own summoned skeletons while confused and earn zeal? The tooltip says when scoring a kill, but also says each time you down an enemy.
