I think there is reason why they did this. They are trying to so what a dark side revan and a light side revan would do. A light side revan would always try to save people, solve conflictis peacefully. While a dark side revan simply kill everyone, and if unable, kill the weakest first, and would always try to find the strongest and quickest solution.
However, the weirdest thing is, for people new to the game, and just do not know, how would the game play out? That is the interesting thing...

My issue is not extra content. My issue is, are they using this time to make some refinements or any bug finding and fixes? That's the real key here.

I actually hated Canderous in the beginning, but I grew to like him a lot. The biggest issue is, most of the characters can possibly die storywise. The only exceptions are Canderous, HK-47, and T3-M4. They follow you regardless of what path. However, it is also possible that all characters are alive, but if they want minimalize the contradictions, only Canderous, HK-47, and T3-M4 can truly be used to their full potential, in whatever role they take.
And on the topic of Bastila, I know all characters are tied to Revan in some fashion, but the bond between is unique. It would be akward and weird to see one and not the other.

Revan must have also had a sex change operation during the 5 years between games, since the Revan I used was distinctly male.

Yes, the trailer is a little bit shorter, plus they changed the character a little bit, and changed the characters behind him. And they added some grass in certain scenes. And the ending scene is no longer Sion. It's Nihilius.

I like Canderous as much you guys, is it really that big of issue, how about if they are separate people? Doesn't it mean that we can possibly get BOTH Canderous AND Mandalore? Think about it.

Well, if you ask me, KOTOR didn't have strong marketing. But to honest, it did have stronger market than KOTOR II. HOwever, there's a really reasonable explanation. Back then, Lucasarts wasn't quite sure the game would sell, so they decided to do more markerting to make sure it sells. However, this time, it's different. Fans already liked KOTOR, and they don't want to hype the game up too much, or people would be disappointed.

There is good reason why it wasn't really rare before; you were part of the Jedi AND fought against the Sith. It would be reasonable for you to pick up some lightsabers. However, the Jedi is all but gone now, and the Sith (at least it seems in the beginning), aren't going to give you any free gifts.

I've always been wondering, how much more in depth have they made it? I keep here how, you can add, and you can disassemble things, but are there any specific pieces of info?

As far as I know, all Jedi know Form I, because simply it is based on traditional sword figthing, without any specialties. If you ask me Revan might have either know any of the forms. It is suggested in the KOTOR that Revan was a great lightsaber combatant with incredible finesse, so it is likely he mastered Form II. However, because he is versatile, he could have also learned, form III, IV, V, and VII. I still think form II fits he best, though.

I think its un-fair how the US xbox users get their hands on Kotor 2 before the PC users and the international xbox users....why do we have to sit and wait for about a month later to get it....I dont have any thing againt the US xbox users I just think why do they get it first?
The answer is simple. Microsoft bribed them to get the X-box version done faster.
Not exactly current. Microsoft bribed them to release it faster for the X-Box in the United States. As far as I know, the PC and X-Box were both on track for the same December 2004 date. However, the extra time, hopefully, they would bug test the game for the PC, because the KOTOR I was somewhat unstable.

Canderous and HK-47 were pretty the best riflemen in the game. I really liked those guys.

Besides, it's fun and gives us something to do. If you have a problem with it, you don't read the threads. They're not hurting you personally.

When the Mandalore in the Mandalorian Wars was killed by REVAN, another took his place. In KOTOR there was another Mandalore already behind the scene's. HK-47 faught him and was defeated, and he also was the one who sent the Mandalorain to Kashyyk. It's in the game, go check. Canderous is not this Mandalore, he may FOLLOW this Mandalore, but he is not the Lord Mandalore. Canderous told the PC the truth from a CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW. A Mandalore did die in the Mandalorians War's, but another rose.
So for the past 7 or 8 years, another Mandalore has already been in exsistence.
From what Canderous told the PC, is that the mandalorians where all scattered around the galaxy without leadership, stating that their time was over. And HK-47 fighting him and getting defeated, on Kashyyyk? That was new.
Well Guess what Canderous also said the clans were no more, yet Jagi says there are still a some remaining. Clear and Simple, Canderous LIED. Would you want anyone to know that you Lord is hanging on the sidelines rebuilding his strenght?
HK did indeed fight the Lord of Mandalore. He says this when you upgrade his memory and suck. And on Kashyyk there is a Datapad where a Mandalorian has mixed feeling about obeying his Lord.
Maybe Canderous didn't lie. Maybe he was mistaken. Maybe he got the IMPRESSION that they were gone, because the clans have scattered. He didn't lie in that way. he Said the clans SCATTERED. It could just mean clans got separated. HK did fight THE Mandorlore, but he lost.

I can't recall any county where you can't marry your cousin...
so you cant call it incest.
And, technically, even though I wouldn't agree with it, it is considered possible that cousins have enough different genes so that having a messed up child percentage that is similar to the percentage between two people who aren't related. Just a thought.

If you ask me, Lucasrts has done a real good job of being tight lipped. They really don't want to raise expectations more than it already the game has.

Actually, if you were DS female, you could kill near the end, Juhani, Jolee, Mission, Zaalbar, and Carth. So the only four left defnitely alive are Bastila, Canderous, T3, and HK-47.
For a DS Male, it's the same, minus the fact you can't kill Carth, except he runs away.
For both LS female and male, you can kill juhani early, or kill bastila near the end, or you can keep them all.
So, if you want to put limiters, the DS female would be the best shot. That'll limit it down to HK-47 and Canderous,, who is neither really confirmed. (HK-50 was confirmed, but I'm not so sure about 47.) Since T3 is already comfirmed, and Bastila's fate is tied with Revan, I really doubt we can say much more on those two.

mine is better then you die agian and then you go to hell and then sion kills you, but then you find out that you are malak/HK-47, and then you find out that your char has been smokeing the whole time, then you find this lake in hell. but it is fake, then you die and go to the second level of hell, then you find out that you are also tm-34, and so on.
