Do you mean Gamestop? I didn't know Gamespot had stores. Anyway that is exactly why I order my games online. I don't pay tax and I never pay shipping either because I order during a stop watch sale or a publisher free shipping promotion. I will be getting my copy of TSL Dec 8th at 3:00pm via my free Fed Ex 2 day shipping deal. Sure I may not have the first copy on my block but atleast I know I will be getting a copy before the week is out. You have every right to be angery The Omnifarious Host and I hope you get a copy of the game soon, but maybe next time you should go the online route and save yourself the trouble.

I was thinking, about the Enchani Handmaiden, the Disciple, and Visas Marr. Maybe you can have all three, but can only train ONE of them as an apprentice?

They rated it from an objective view as possible, Greg already stated in the review that this game is clearly for the fans of the first game.
True, but does that mean newcomers will dislike the game? The graphics aren't so bad too be 6. People won't turn on their X-Boxes and say, "Aw damn, this game looks like crap".

Gah, I'm torn... I do have an Xbox, but I've been a longtime PC gamer and after seeing the difference between Xbox version and PC version at 1280x1024 with AA and AF cranked to max, I really, really want the good graphics. So herein lies the rub. I'm definitely going to get the PC version, but now I need to decide whether it's really worth the $40-50 to play it 2 months early.
And remember, PC version gets better textures.

I ordered TSL during a Gamestop 48 hour stop watch sale on all Lucas Arts games. The deal was so good I pre-ordered TSL, Republic Commando, and Battlefront all together and got 2 day free shipping on all three games.

I'm hoping wal-Mart will have it EB says SHIPS on 12/6 so they get it Tuesday.
I know for a fact that Wal-Mart has it "in stock" in store my buddy that works there saw it.
and I called and verified it.
I hope it doesn't have a big orange street date sensitive sticker on it like Halo 2 did.
Kaybee toys stores likes to break street dates they have that rep.

Considering the amount of complaining you've done, I would have thought you'd atleast wait for the PC version and for one or two patches first.

I can empathasize with how you feel. If Bioware had been Making KOTOR 2, I would feel the same way as you did. But they are not making it. Black Isl... I mean, Obsidian Ententainment is. I would come to expect that is the least they would do, and I would have little very against it.

Well just beacause places are not allowed to put it doesn't mean they won't put it out early like you said out of carelesness or stupidity, but the earlier the better so i don't care

true some stores do get it early but they are not ALLOWED to put out it out early, they have to follow the release date, but sometimes things get mixed up so they put out it out early.
Yeah, not exactly true. Places like Target, Walmart, and K-Mart, don't really care a lot, so they sometimes do it on purpose, or out of carelessness.
I doubt dedicated game stores, would pull off that kinda thing, though.

The guys working at GameStop aint the brightest people working at gamestores in my local area. One guy told me Thursday and the other told me Tuesday. The promo in the store says Dec 6th. When I pointed that out to them they said "Oh! It might come out tomorrow, just give us a call first"
This Gamestop didn't have a copy of Fable until almost 3 days after official release when everyone was already playing it. There were other stores that had the game, even other Gamestops.
This is the reason why I don't put money down on games anymore. It's not a guarantee that you will be playing the game on the release date.
Target was the first place I looked this morning. The man at the Target store tells me they already have them in stock and will have them on the shelves tomorrow. No early releases though. LA might have had something to do with that.
Amazon.com even states on their site that they will be getting their copies FROM Target. So if any of you have a Target near you and you are worried about the game stores with a late release then I suggest you find your local Target because the guy I spoke to says they won't running out of copies. He says they have a standing order to keep themselves well supplied up untill Christmas.
Well, don't worry about places like Gamestop. Chances are, there shipment was late; it is places like Target, (like you said), Walmart, K-mart, that you have to worry about.

You can't get it on the 6th, it ships on the 6th so you can get it on the 7th, and some stores are saying they can't sell it untill the 9th, so unless they somehow can put it out early, you have to wait untill the 7th
Not exactly. Some stores get before the 6th. Some are just too lazy to put it on, or afraid the date is not exactly correct, so they delay it by a day.

Guys, have you thought of the possibility that there isn't 2 mandalores; Rather, the Mandarole that Hk-47 didn't kill could have killed by someone else?
