  1. Well C++ from what I know is getting used less year by year. As far as I know (I could be wrong) most games are beginning to be programmed using C# these days, but it is not widespread yet. Java is unrealiable, but is used in small mini-games that you find here there and everywhere. I use C# myself since I took a few lessons in it, but I am no way near being an experienced when it comes to the actual mainstream industry and what they all use. So I could be wrong don't hold my word fto what I've said. Just my 2 cents....
  2. Well I saw all the cute furry animals, and thought, "What the world ain't like that all I ever see are nasty, horrible, slimy things." So heres a picture to enlighten you all on that thought. By the way Im perfectly aware that a slug is an insect not an animal, but hey I've seen ants and predator aliens so this ain't that far off.
  3. Hi, I'm in the process of applying for a Computer Science with Games Devlopment Degree course at my local university. I was wondering is the above kind of qualification helpful when trying to get into the Games Industry? Also I live in England so anyone know of any Games companies here that may take me on after I get the degree or maybe as an apprentice in an apprenticeship, to get me on the first rung of the industry? I have vivid ideas for games and love making them (Using editors). I am totally fascinated by the development of Games, so any help is really appreciated on this matter, I need to get into the industry its what I was born for.
