Took 2 restarts but gold and chests (and daily challenge) are all back -- thanks guys!

All gold and ALL chests disappear with patch -- ouch!!!

Lost all my chests (40) and gold (over 10,000)!!
Also was going to start the daily challenge -- but can't find it.

Playing Fort in Peril on Legendary. Played a full round of turns with 6 characters (Ezren, Valeros, Seelah, Merisel, Lem and Seoni). Back to Ezren's turn and he clicks on card to explore and Merisel's screen comes up. Tried twice - including going to vault -- no change. Exited out of his turn without exploring and went on to Valeros -- same thing.
Ended up forfeiting game.

For me, Mammy Graul -- just too likely to find her late then run out of time. (I have started only playing 6 player parties to max gold). Although Calzaru is a close second!

I have had same thing -- usually with Ezren but not with a fighter type.

Ezren - Valeros -Seelah - Merisel - Lem - Seoni
Ezren and Seelah are both quick closers. Valeros can handle most monsters. Merisel is great for her dex. Lem is nice to have around for overall flexibility and support and having another powerful magic user in Seoni rounds out the party although I played the first four until the awards change happened favoring 6 person party.

I keep hoping this one will be fixed with the AD4 update, but I am guessing the developers still have not been able to reproduce and thus fix. I really like the new dice in quest but wish I could use them for story.

Have to say in my opinion it is a card not worth having (kinda wish I could remove it from my deck). I use most of my allies to get extra explorations and having a boon automatically discarded really doesn't compete with the vast majority of allies. His other powers, so far, really have not been useful.

I am displeased with the loss of bonus chests. I can deal with hitting the treasure chest button over and over again far more than having to farm an additional 5000 gold for the same purchase.

Seems the developers have decided to do away with giving any discount to those buying chests with gold rather than money. Soon all chests will be 500 gold each, with no bonuses unless you spend money on them. Have to say I am very disappointed. I have been managing to farm 2000 gold per day and buying a set of 50 chests each 10 days and then enjoying opening 5 per day. I know it is only an extra 500 gold per day to do the same thing, but I hate having things taken away. It just feels like I have had a feature that I really liked removed. Have to say I haven't played at all today. Just can't get in the mood. Wonder how others feel about this change.

Thanks Nightfind -- that is a more accurate description of my experience also. Got the next card and couldn't close the location -- ended up forfeiting the game rather than playing it out.

Have to say I am disappointed to lose the 20 percent that we were getting by saving up 20,000 gold. It was really fun to spend 10 days earning 20,000, buy 50 chests, then spend the next 10 days opening 5 per day -- kinda felt like Christmas morning every day. Now it will take 20 percent longer. Very disappointing for me. Might just stop bothering with the chests or the daily gold that I used to help farm that 20,000.

Can someone clarify -- are all of the current treasure cards in the vault actually obtainable? (I still have quite a bunch to go - most of them legendary, but curious especially on the non-legendary if they actually exist).

I have had this happen twice now both with Valeros. He actually beat the Ogrekin on 1 of the rolls (without me being able to use a weapon or anything since it rolled right away) -- but I did not get the opportunity to try to close the location. This was in quest mode on ipad

Just tried deleting the multiple copies of some of my experienced characters to see if that helped. Still no go. I do hope this issue is on the agenda for patching, but I'm not sure if any of the developers have been able to reproduce it (sure wish I couldn't reproduce it over and over again). At least I get to see the dice in Quest mode. Wish I knew why the game treated story mode dice equip so differently!

Well, I just tried all of those steps and failed again. Still kicking me out of the game without configuring the new dice -- thanks for the advice though.

Sure starting to feel like we are going off topic. Would love some more comments on the ORIGINAL post if possible -- as in should Quest card rewards be based on the character's level or tier. Thanks all!

Blessing of Erastil says adds 2 dice for combat dexterity check but only added one die in a fight against a Satyr -- felt like a combat check to me.

This problem continues and gets more frustrating as I get more dice that I can't equip. The first time I made a new party with my current characters I was able to equip some new dice before it kicked me out at first card. Those dice choices have stayed but I can't change them. Now I have tried again to make a new party with them -- they are locked when I try to make a new party (although that is what had worked when I did equip). When I delete the party and rebuild it, I get kicked out after the dice screen and it does not equip. Also should dice be grayed out when I go to the vault during game?
Hope that a fix is being worked on. Disappointing to get new dice in chests that I can't use. Thanks.

Yeah, I exited out of everything, shut off the ipad and eventually got a fresh screen with the challenge available. Didn't get credit for the legendary I completed before turning it off, but no big deal.

I'm not sure you understand my post -- I am recommending a tier 2 item/ally/weapon etc from one's current vault be the level reward in Quest mode for a player that has reached tier 2 (level 20 and above) - a level 3 card for level 30 and above. Otherwise all of the card rewards tend to be junk compared with what the player has already acquired.

Having same issue with discarding or recharging cards since update. Playing in Quest mode. Happens across characters, locations and card type. Going to vault and back resolves the issue each time but makes for a very long game.
