Three times now, when a character encounters a villain whose check to defeat is increased by a dice roll and Lini attempts to temporarily close a location, the result of her check to close is added to the difficulty of the villain. Most recently, this resulted in a DC 37 check to defeat the Skinsaw Man. @da_mayor and Hannibal No, myself and the other posters are familiar with the game. We mean that the total number of blessinga in Quest mode is frequently between 4 and 10. Not 4 blessings per person; four total blessings.

Decided to try out the Quest system today, and was flabbergasted when I almost immediately lost. I didn't notice that you only get six turns until afterwards. Has anyone managed to beat a quest yet? What's your strategy?

These problems seem to pop up whenever a monster has an ability that increases its difficulty. I've noticed it on Ancient Skeletons, Bunyips, and various veteran monsters. I'm on an Android phone (4.4.4).
