  1. Yeah, I think I'll do what you have said, I'll give it more time and skip this for a while lol. Usually I play RPGs with the best rewards for a quest in mind, but this time, this game, I'd like to play the game with my choosing (for roleplaying purposes), damn the rewards and if there are consequences, so be it, that's why I'm a bit torned as to what to decide lol.
  2. Sorry for the late reply (and thanks for the concern). I will try to verify the game cache and then redo the battle from an old save. off-topic: as for my avatar, here ya go https://www.google.com/search?q=Carolina+Neto&tbm=isch update: I did what Sokatos has observed (quicksave then quickload repeatedly), and I can confirm, it does increase the defense stats each cycle. (thanks Sokatos for discovering it) Same enemy; right one after multiple cycles of quicksaves and quickloads.
  3. I'm on the part where I have to choose between two options (Raedric and Kolsc) and another two options (Osyra and Nedmar). Before I make a decision, I'd like as much information as possible. It seems Nedmar is in collusion with Kolsc to overthrow Raedric. Raedric converted to the worship of Berath, thinking it was all Eothas' fault that the Legacy started. Nedmar had close ties to both Kolsc and Raedric, but I'm not sure how deep. It's most likely Nedmar who persuaded Raedric to convert to "Berathism". But something's bothering me, did Nedmar not only convert Raedric, but did he have something to do with the second purges? Did he influece Raedric to commit the second purges, as a way for Kolsc to gain popularity? But why would he want Kolsc more than Raedric, when Raedric is very patronizing of Berathians? Maybe Kolsc promised Nedmar more than Raedric? Or is Nedmar just against Raedric's killing? Something's just not right, and there are lack of info about whether Nedmar had something to do with mass killings. I'd like to keep one of the two figureheads alive (since a power vacuum seems bad, I'm thinking about the family of the miller in Gilded Vale and also Aufra). Also I'm thinking about the two characters whispering behind Raedric. Osyra seems like she's on the right track with her research, but I've read that the Paladins you met earlier were employed to kidnap people (too bad they met the hero and companions). Should I punish her or not. Should I kill the conniving Nedmar as well? He might have had a part in Raedric's "madness" or misguided beliefs. But am I not just repeating the cycle of murder (and in turn, I might be murdered as well myself)?
  4. I think I might have been misunderstood as to why I posted this. Some clue. I posted this to ask Obsidian to look into anomalies in the enemy spawn in other difficulty modes. Or atleast someone could confirm this is normal or not, that the stats of the spawned enemy/creature have the intended stats for that location.
  5. OK, I might not have been clear as to why I posted this. Could you please check on the enemy data or enemy spawn data, because I'm not sure if I'll meet more of these enemies with wonky stats in the future? Or could someone please verify if this is normal, or does this example spawned enemy have the intended stats?
  6. @anameforobsidian, no worries I defeated them already, although I was half expecting some big phat lewt from that encounter. I had an easier time killing the spider queen near their location than killing this godlike looter lol. For reference, these are the stats of the enemies you find in Normal mode. I think there's a problem with the additional spawned enemies in Hard mode, I think it's spawning the wrong enemies, or the enemies spawned have wonky stats.
  7. Also, please update the pathfinding system of the game. As seen here, it's becoming too often that characters get tangled up in a pathing node. Epileptic Eder?
  8. Before they release a new product, you know what they should do first? They need to create a more advanced AI to replace the rudimentary AI of PoE. I think they forgot this aspect of Baldur's Gate 2, heck, in BG2 you can even program your own AI scripts for your characters. That's the level of effort Black Isle invested in the creation of the Infinity Engine's creature AI. Obsidian seemed to have lost sight or ignored or failed to notice the beauty beneath the outdated graphics of the Infinity Engine. Tyranny? Now that I've seen PoE myself, I finally saw that it's AI quality is very lacking, and this is what I will emphasize in my rants in the future about the PoE engine, so that the developers might be guided to what a real AI should look like, not like an amateur "oh, go straight for the priest character, even though this creature is a dog and don't know how to discern job classes". How the ♥♥♥♥ did that skuldr monster know which one of my characters is a priest when all of them are wearing heavy armor and auto attacking, it's like monsters in this game have sixth sense or something. That's because the AI in this game is using shortcuts, an AI cheat, a hack job of an AI. Sorry Obsidian, I'm not a retarded fanboy. I tell what's wrong, so your game would improve, so more people will love it, SO YOU WILL HAVE MORE MONEY.
  9. I'm on my way to meeting Maerwald in Caed Nua. I've already encountered the looter group before in my Normal difficulty playthrough, and had no problems with them. I'm replaying the game on a Hard difficulty, and I know some enemy encounters were changed in Hard mode, but I also know that the enemy stats only change in PotD mode. Why the **** did this looter enemy suddenly get godlike armor in Hard mode? Did they mess something up in the latest patch?
