  1. Include me in the camp of people who misplayed due to UI. Because of the extreme screen change when asking to close at the start of the turn (dim background, stand-out box), I assumed that was the only chance I was going to get to be asked if I wanted to close on her turn, and since closing was more important than healing that turn (although both were desired), I didn't dare indicate that "No, I don't want to try to close this location." for fear of not getting the opportunity later.
  2. Borissimo, it sounds like your ideal system would be a "save file" that tracks overall achievement, and within that save file, several "box files" that give each set of characters their own full experience. I wonder if Obsidian can use the existing structure to make it this way by using your account as the "save file" and using the current saves as "box files." I echo your desire for this setup, but I don't know how compatible our desires are with the structures currently programmed or how much effort it would take to make it as described above.
  3. I just spotted another Kyra healing power bug -- she was alone at the town square and used or healing power on herself (my favorite use for the spell Mending). After the heal completed, I tried to use the location's power to discard a Rusted Chain Mail to explore. The power activation and selecting the chain mail went fine, but clicking or dragging on the deck to explore again did not activate the exploration. I was able to cancel out of the location power and use a Blessings of the Gods as normal, and after that exploration the location power worked as normal using the Rusted Chain Mail.
  4. I would think that perhaps the issue here is related to the issue causing progress to reset when you view your party/decks between scenarios, since that would seem to be rhe natual time to add/change members.
  5. Dunesparrow, the key words in the rulebook you quoted are 'from the cards your group has available.' PinkRose's group had 3 spells available, and 3 slots to fill, so no reason to invoke the rule you quoted. Your assumption about banishing cards after a scenario ends is not supported by any rule on a card or in the rulebook, and a cursory search of the PACG site and forums provides consensus that the rules don't allow such banishing. As a house rule, it's not necessarily a bad one, but I am pretty sure that the designers meant for it not to happen. Relatedly, because of this rule, it is more important that we be able to refuse boons if desired (as described and discussed in another thread here in these forums).
  6. My understanding from the PACG rules is that the game shouldn't've let you do that -- Your party had 3 spells, and it needed 3 spells -- all 3 should have gone to Kyra and then you are ready for the next scenario. The box is only used if your party, as a whole, doesn't have enough cards of a particular type to meet the requirements for all characters in the party.
  7. I just wanted to say that I really like this idea for adding options in to the game -- it gives a chance to get the real life equivalent of promo cards/class deck cards into the game very easily, and I could easily see future adventure paths ea h having their own 'vault' (or 'hold' in s&s or 'trove' in WotR, etc.)
  8. I'm in worse shape with mending, unfortunately. I cast Mending and it jumped to Merisiel at my location telling me to discard a card (her 3 weapons were highlighted). I choose one to discard, but nothing else highlights. I can view her discard pile, but can't drag anything and I can't proceed with the game either (clicking the button on the right does nothing). My game appears to be stuck and it seems that I'll need to start over from scratch (I don't see any way to use these versions of Kyra and Merisiel to start a new scenario). On a side note, I never intended to cast mending at all -- I incorrectly clicked on it in an attempt to use Kyra's healing power before clicking on her healing power icon. It would be nice if there was some way to 'back out' of a casting decision such as this before the effects are completed (or informaton is given to the player). Thanks as always for your work in making the app version of PACG great!
  9. A follow-up here: I saw that others were able to install on phones so I installed on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. On my phone,I was able to install the app and successfully login using the account made on our tablet (where I could not log in on the tablet). Upon logging in on mu phone, it also started me off in the tutorial (which had not happened when I logged in as a new account using Facebook on the tablet).
  10. I also have this issue, with the username Eldicor. Just switched over to using Facebook so I could play. It may be worth noting that I share the tablet device with my husband, who is also a tester and played the game first (he just logged in with Facebook though)
  11. Ebee, I don't think that lack of proficiency was an issue. My Kyra only ever used a Mace or a Flaming Mace +1, and Merisiel starts proficient with weapons if I am remembering correctly. I wonder if that's where the hiccup may have come up in coding though -- but I didn't notice the issue with any non-Veteran monsters.
  12. I have just finished my first go at Brigandoom, and I am quite excited for this digital version of PACG! There were two major issues during my first playthrough, and a couple of minor ones as well: 1) For some combats against mercenaries and bandits, the difficulty of the check was increased by 4 (as if the adventure deck number was 4). These were checks in the middle of the game (~turns 10-20), and not all combats against mercenaries or bandits had this issue. 2) The scenario was ultimately failed, but I lost all cards my characters acquired during the scenario -- there was no option to rebuild decks or anything after it was over. There was one minor issue near the end as well -- Merisiel was fighting a shadow in an attempt to temporarily close a location, and it defaulted her to combat using a d4, not her melee die. I also have one question. I set permadeath to 'on', and Merisiel died in this first attempt. It seemed like I could not access a fresh version of Merisiel for my next game -- is that what is meant by permadeath? If so, I fear that may rub people the wrong way in conjunction with asking them to pay for characters -- it certainly does to me. Thanks for all the work and love that has been put into the game! I look forward to it getting better and better!
