that bit still makes me laugh, a terrible end to a fantastic duel.. 'high ground'? didnt maul have the high ground over obi wan in ep1 when he died :s ? and erm, luke would beat revan, as much as i am a fanboy, im also a realistic fanboy Luke Yoda Revan are my top 3 i'd say and maybe Kavar as 4th :D legend

I usually go for whatever the story and character leans towards (if you've read any of my previous posts you'll know i like to make my games serious and 'canon' as i can/believe it to be) for kotor2 ive been mainly playing sentinal then weapon master, i always get so bored if i play jedi master/sith lord because all you do is enter a room, spam force wave/storm and move on, its so boring with a wepon master you slice people up all over the shop, like they do in the films, they dont run around spamming force wave, even the most pwoerfull of jedi masters/sith lords (yoda, sidious) still fight with a lightsaber most of the time. You still have sufficient force powers to wave people and stun them with a weapon master as well. I think the game leans towards lightsaber based combat as well, with all the extra feats, lightsaber upgrades, numerous physical side quests and how weapon masters get much betetr prestige feats than any other class but thats my 2 cents, everyone has their own tastes

oi seriously guys, what a silly thread, i mean, it wouldnt even be a contest, Luke would just wipe the floor with him. Dont get me wrong, im a Revan Fanboy, and i think Revan would be a better general of Armys than Luke, and perhaps a better duelist, but i mean... Luke is Luke.. you cant beat him. His force powers and mastery of the force are off the charts. And Nihilus sucked so hard because he steals or 'eats' force power, but the Exile doesnt have his own force base, he just steals it off other force sensitive people (hence his force bonds) so Nihilus couldnt attack him, also because Nihilus and the Exile are both wounds in the force, Nihilus was created by the exile, so its kind of a Neo/Agent Smith thing going on. But yeh.., Luke everytime easily

Basically, Jedi dont have classes, they just have different levels of power, yoda may be a jedi master, and mace windu a jedi weapon master, but generally jedi who are strong in the force tend to be good at everything, this is how i see Revan and Th Exile, but seeing as we're talking about a game... Revan - Scout/Guardian reasons.. rushed to war instead of waiting for the council, not a very consular thing to do knows war well fights with 2 lightsabers, according to kotor 2 also had high skills, due to building Hk and stuff (scout) Obviously either way it doesnt matter, Revan would still whoop anyones ass,cus he;s sjut pwoerfull at everything, but in the games i play him as a guardian. Exile Obviously a Weapon Master because.. the whole story behind him is that he survived without the force for 10 years where no other jedi could, so this leads us to believe he isnt exactly amazing with force powers. true he can establish force bonds easily, but he steals force powers off others and doesnt actually have his own force-base. +the game is blatently bias towards the weapon master choice.. :D i could go on for days about it, seeing as i an very knowlagable about kotor 1 and 2, but im tired and kaba

I See Revan as a Guardian more than a consular, because the only actuall movie representations of Revan are when he fights bastilla before he was captured, and he weilded a lightsaber is snazzy fashion, and prepare to do lightsaber combat, and also in kotor2 we see Revan duel wielding, not really a sign of a consular/jedi master. Its obvious Revan was powerfull, he's probably just like Anakin, jsut damn good at everything, but more intelligent than Anakin.. Exile im really stuck over, im just starting a new game and im trying to figure out the Exile charectar. Before he left for the mandalorian wars i cans ee him as a Guardian, gets exiled and becomes a sentinal (high skill and turnig invisible and hiding), and comeing back to know space, and being the only jedi, would surly fill him with force power, so i can see a jedi master, and seeing as he's the only jedi left it would be betetr for him to be a jedi master, so he can start up the new jeid order with good teaching, not 'this is how u slice someone up' but i hate playing consular/jedi master in kotor cus it gets so boring, you jsut spam force wave/kill/lightning, and in the movies you dont see yoda and palpatine running around throwing force powers all the time, they jsut use their lightsaber loads (apart from fighting each other) Im tempted to go with sentinal - weapon master but still boost charmisma and wisdom (esp with handmaindens wisdom -defence boost) Incase you hadnt noticed i like to make my kotor games exact history, so i can think back on them and say 'yeh, thats what happend to the exile. :"> So maybe, Exile at the start with high skills and con, then seeing as kreia teaches him about the force and so, takes the jedi master route? also seeing as his main attributes are his force bonds and how he can make friends/allies easily, this would suggest many traits of a jedi master (shame they are boring as hell to play, i'll jsut have to pump str and dex as well as wis and char :s, lvl 50 cheat coming up...) :D

:D Hi everyone This thread is here so people can discuss their Revan/Exile thoughts reguarding gender/allignment/face/attire and weapons, and also what classes. My Revan was, Male, Light Side Long haired white guy, with slight beard Attire, didnt really mind, as long as its jedi robes, no armour or head gear. Weapons - 1 purple and 1 red (in the off hand), seeing as this is how Revan (darth revan) is portrayed in kotor2. Class - Scout and then Jedi Guardian I'm also a firm beliver that Revan never fell to the dark side, he found a greater evil in the outer rim and knew that only the sith/his own army would be able to beat them. (its a long story, you'll understand if you listen to what kreia has to say) As for the Exile, Male, Light Side Jesus face (long hair, beard) - im torn between this and the shaved head and scar dude. I prefer the look of the jesus face because it looks more jedi and exiled like, but the shaved head was used in all the posters and manual, and i like my kotor games to be offical (im nuts like that) Attire - again, jedi robes, no head gear Weapons - Single lightsaber, blue Class - Im torn between sentinal - weapon master or sentinal/consular - jedi master. The game seems to me like its pushing wepaon master on you, with all the cool forms, added feats, lgithsaber customiseation, and the fact that living in exile would beef you up a bit. But the story line suggests that the exile was a consular, seeing as he is obviously very powerful in the force (creating wounds and the like), and kreia is always teaching you about new force things that would suggest a deeper connection to the force rather than running around chopping things up. He jsut seems more like a big force user, but the game kinda sucks for lightside force users. so, thats my 2 cents, what about everyone else?
