  1. Some of those screenshots for OGRE3d were pretty nice, imho.
  2. I think this is a great concept, however I'm not sure if it could be exacuted as of yet. In order for anyone to hit the 'ok' button on these kind of ideas you'll have to showcase it early on, and even include it as part of the pitch where that's necessary. Not to mention make time for it in development. That's what a lot of companies wil ask about these days; is this idea a viable asset? So now what? Well, if you want 'evolving combat animation' start that modding! Prove it's popular and it may just catch on Peace, Joe
  3. I usually apply the movie industry to the marketing aspect of games. Two movies as example: the new When a Stranger Calls and... The original Matrix Trailer. The Matrix is coming... THAT was it. Brillient! When a Stranger Calls reveals the ENTIRE plot, and shows you the ENTIRE movie in a condenced format. The latter example, imho, is the kind of thing that needs to be avoided. Let gamers be fickle, if you play your cards right and have a smart advertising team I think you can get away with it, without sacrificing the early development of the game.   4. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what it's like trying to transition from table top RPGs to the PC and Console design? My interests lie in building plot, story, mechanics, and backdrop, and being able to concentrate on these aspects is important to me. I
