Can an unintelligent or semi-intelligent being be "evil"?Can they be a race in the sense of playable or NPC characters? PoE playing a Shadow: You roam Caed Nua's backyard, and every time something living crosses your path, you fall into a frenzy and have to attack it, because you're hungry. Very ... satisfying, and I'm sure not many would accept as a viable option for playing an "evil race". Yes it can be evil, if everything it does leads to evil (distroying everthing, just for distroying) then it is evil at least from OUR point of view, even if there are no devils or angels... if theres a race that eat people, not becouse their just hungy and their are part of ecosystem, but are killing them then it's "evil race", race can be "evil" if its character can't be difrent ( for example teached by humans)... if someone becoumes evil then we say "he" is evil... evil surely exist in PE, of everyone was kind and just ... the game would be boring

BTW i take How much i cant dump PER and Con in your opinion ?

Thanks for advices, i will propably will not update my game to 2.0 becouse i heard that perception in there is way more important, and if it is i will have weaker might, int, dex then in 1.6 :D The only thing that coud push me now to updating a game is major bug fixes, mayby i will beat a game on 1.6 and then update a game to 2.0 with some other character (for example someone who don't need high intelect, and will benefit perception :D)... Hello I made a decision that i will play Gun-Cipher charater, propably wood elf. I have some questions about this class since im beginner. 1. What are the best "spells"/powers for Cipher Gunslinger ? (he will propably use bow at the begining) 2. What do you think are the best talents for this build ? 3. What stat distribiution whoud you guys sudgest ? i give him something like 18 MI 6 PE 16 DE 10CON 18 INT and 10 Resolve.. is that good ? Patch is 1.6 if i recall....

And who says that game can't have isometric camera, full 3d, cinematics and good storyline and writhing ? Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, had full 3d isometrics and only writhing is speculative... If technology from orgins, where used by obsidian then whoud it be one of the best games ? Expecionally with almost unlimited resorces, and Blizzard point of view "it's finished when it's finished"... Obsidian games to this time (i didn't played PoE yet so i don't know if also today) always besides BG and IWD series had plenty of bugs, and hae some strange point of view on some matters, for example anti-romance atitiude.. with is mystery to my why .... but they had deep worlds, good story lines, good writhing and always i coud call they games as "RPG"... Biowere on other hand had less bug till DA2 (inquisition also), nice graphics, sometimes good storylines, and sometimes accepteble romances... but today thay went't crazy with them... and i in many times wondered "im playing RPG or Shoter ?"... In my opinion Obsidian shoud now after making PoE that was simillar to BG1 now shoud make PoE2 much more like BG2, hell if they make PoE with romances (hell even copy Jaheira and Viconia and im content) prestige classes/specializations or way more talents, adding bigger level (30 fo example), with a little better technology... in future i whoud even not consider in most wet of the dreams or most higher fever buing next Biowere game... expecionaly i want to play RPG not, hidden shoter like Inquisition was...

Yeah but Undead are consider an other race becouse ther to much differ from a parent race (undead aumaua, dwarf, human, elf), their evil becose their always do evil (eating humans) and can't do otherwise, Worms destroying everything, if they are a aspect of nature then okey, but if they are designed to distroy everything just as any other biological weapon (not only humans but ecosystem also) then they at least "bad" at least for us don't you think ? :D And im sure in PoE are some evil ghost, gods, spirits etc...or other supernaturals that are generic evil.

Races are not evil. Races cannot be evil or good. Individuals can be. Either of them. Cultures and upbringing can tend in a certain direction which may be perceived as either one. But races are not. P.S. Oh, pleeeeaaase no Drow. Races cannot be Evil ? So Demons not Evil ? Undead are not Evil ? Evil worms from undergraoud distroing everything are not evil ? :D Besides, Drows were not evil in general, but their society were.... There were good Drows like Drizzt, but most peaple in D&D have opinion about them from looking at their society... or at least the more visible aspects of it...

Once again, i repeat my question from previous poll this time with better poll. I personaly whoud like to see some new Elf race, that risemble Drows, i mean not copy and paste, but some evil elfish race with utopic/dystopic society that learn dark arts etc.

So what spellcasters are better with guns and firearms ? Druid ? Cipher ? Priest ?

We don't know even if any other races will be added, this topic is only IF are gonna be added, what we want to see :D . Devs can if they realy wanted, explain why "Half-races" shown up, for example someone created a alchemist potion that allows cross breeding, or halfs are result of direct genetic manipulation for example chimerization etc So don't say what is gonna hapen or don't simply say if you want or not them... as i said this topic is just speculation...

I have a question, which race shoud be next in Pillars of Eternity ? Im personally a bit sad that there are no Drows (or elfs alike), if there are gonna by new expansion, or next game in this universe (Pillars 2 for example) what type of race you want to play ? (Poll edited)

Hello I have some questions about Wizard in general, and some tips for my kind of vision about my character. In general i want a Wizard, that stays mostly at secound or even third line, but deals much demage and here i have some questions. 1. What is the best (in you opinion) stat menagment for this kind of build, i know that probably Might, but im asking about more stat distrubution in general, for example if you where playing this kind of a wizard, how many might, intelect, resolve, dex you would you take ? 2. What type of armor would you guys recomend for this type of character ? Im personaly thinking about something between Robe and Breastplate, im not asking of course about protecion and speed reduction only, but also about possible enchantments good for Wizard, from what i seen in wiki, Robes have best enchantments for Wizard ? Im right ? 3. I know that weapon is not most important thing about mage, especially at later levels. But at the begining weapon is possibly some times life saver (Becouse lack o spells), im personaly thinking about gun Blunderbuss, is taking this weapon for mage have any sense ? 4. If my build in general would be a mage in robe with blunderbuss what type of talents would you take ? 5. Skill question, I knew that takeing few point in athletics is a good idea, also lore seems to look good. My question is about Mechanics (in witch Wizard gets one) and survival, which is better in your opinion ? I personaly dont see my Wizard disarming traps, sneaking etc. If i take Athetics (4 point) Lore (10) and rest to Survival it whoud be good option ? Im asking not only about cold tactical calculation, but alsto about how many times those skills are used in dialog ? 6. Dream Team, what is your perfect team for a Wizard, expecionally Wizard with a Gun, and also how whoud you equip/ and develop rest of your team ?
