There is even a sum of money to be made form this one! If you choose to let him speak for himself by choosing "Say your piece", then you can gain 1000 cp by selecting "whats in it for me?" .... That way he flees town rethinking his life. But I would only recommend that solution if you are not playing the "honest hero" which I am clearly not
