I have a slightly different issue, I dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.10, I am using a 32 bit system and can get PoE working in Windows using a workaround (reassigning OS RAM) and was wondering whether there is something similar in Ubuntu .
Failing that, @Sslaxx how are you launching PoE without using the Steam client? I mean, terminal line - if so, which one? I created a Desktop Shortcut and looked at the shortcut address to see which file was being executed. I also noticed that there were some .EXEs in there... I thought Linux PoE was Linux native... rather than Wine...?
Obviously if I use the shortcut, it loads the Steam Client and it won't load at all.
