    I actually couldn't sleep so I got up to get in a few hours of Pillars while I still can. Annoyingly, Steam was in the midst of an auto-update so I decided to go ahead and read the patch notes to see what changes awaited. Disappointingly, I discovered both the controversy and Obsidian's response to it. The way Obsidian has responded has really sickened me and left me with no desire to play this game again... ever. If anyone from Obsidian (or in the know) is reading this, I'd honestly like a refund for my purchase. I know it's highly unlikely to occur but I really don't want to give my money to a company that treats its backers this way.
