    RE my earlier post about the gc error, I rebooted my PC and the game works now, there are a few 'niggles; in the game still, I;ve had one random crash to desktop and there are some missing vocals, but, on the whole, generally a positive patch, the juddering audio for example, was driving me crazy, now it is fixed., thanks guys for reacting to some of the major in game problems. )
