  1. I didn't play at Trial of Iron, but i think he want to say that the game must save your current position when you quit, and you will start from place where you quit, not from place where you last save the game. It will prevent the abuse with quit+load to restart fight for example.
  2. My post from another thread about interrupts Just tested duration of interrupts of Morning star without and with Interrupting Blows. No difference. And overall, interrupts applied to all enemies colldowns, for example after hit recovery, extend the cooldown time. And very unexpected for me was to discover that animation time don't extend really when character interrupted. I checked it at long animations like reloading. It seems that animation stops after interrupt hit, but overall animation time don't change. Character just speed up animation. For example character need 3 sec to reload, he start reloading for 1 sec and get interrupted, he start reloading again for 1 sec, and get interrupted again, seems it can last forever, but no, he already virtually reload for 2 sec and character just speed up animation and reload for 1 sec(1+1+1=3 sec total like it has to be). But it need confirmation, i checked it just by my eyes, and there is guys who count frames somehow.

  4. I think it maybe just wrong ingame description. According to http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Interrupting_Blows Effect Interrupt base value x 1.15 The attacker must at least score a Graze. Each weapon or attack has a base Interrupt time in one of the following categories Scale: [None] Weakest: 0.05 seconds Weaker: ??? Weak: 0.35 Average: 0.5 sec Strong: 0.75 sec Stronger: 1 sec Strongest: ??? These values can further be modified by magicial weapons, items or the talent Interrupting Blows. <---THIS! So it not a chance increase, but duration increase. I think it will be noticible in Morning star test, but now i am lazy to test it =)
  5. Part 2. Returning to my Fampyr roleplay. I will be playing: - Wizard class. - Unarmed combat. Two hands(cooler animation and no Grimoire in second hand). I will start with low damage fist animation weapon, and will be adding more poweful weapon as game progression goes, and in the end i will get that cool claws animation. Damage of the fampyr_claws is about superb enchanted weapon. - Clothes armor. - Race. Pale Elf. Cause they аre pale =). - Attributes. All that give me more attack speed, interrupt, and physical and mind resistance. And more likely i will get by console Rogues talent Shadowing Beyond It's like vampires mist form. - Stealth. I want scout and attack mages, archers from behind. - Spells. Only those spells that fit my vampire/fampyr stereotypes. Drain, control, speed. - First level: * fampyr ranged charm * fleet feet - Second level: * infuse with vital essence * Concelhaut's Corrosive Siphon * Fetid Caress - Third level: * Deleterious Alacrity of Motion * Concelhaut's Draining Touch * Ardous Delay of Motion - Forth level: * Ironskin * Maybe i will use Confusion, but i think partical effects not so 'vampiric' =) - Fifth level: * Ryngrim's Enervating Terror * Call to Slumber, again not so 'vampiric' - Sixth level: * Gaze of the Adragan Thats all. Have fun with your roleplay character.
  6. Hi, i didn't start playing Pillars of Eternity yet =) I was searching for opportunity to roleplay vampire with drain and unarmed claws attacks, and i finally did it!!! Also with this tips you can roleplay another creatures from the game or any unarmed characters (for example like this =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhBiNx749Zw ATTENTION obscene language) Ok, let's start. The main problem with ingame unarmed is what it's not scale or enchant, and not have that awesome Fampyr animation of claws attack. But all unarmed creatures in this game have weapon, this weapon unarmed and can be get by console command. And most pleasing for me is that Fampyr weapon have claws attack animation. So you just need(http://orcz.com/Pillars_of_Eternity:_Console_Commands) to unlock cheats and add two items(for both hands) to your inventory. Items will apeare as bags, cause they haven't icons. Here list of all working creatures weapon that i found(works only weapon from human like creatures): - revenant_claws - wicht_claws - ghul_claws - construct_flesh_fists - dargul_claws - fampyr_claws - construct_bronze_fists Only fampyr_claws have cool claws attack animation Other weapons have regular fist attack animation To get Fampyr clothes you need to add item: - for like in game male fampyr: fampyr_cloth_armor or robe_armor_skaen - for like in game female fampyr: cloth_outfit_dyrwoodan Also you can get creatures abilities. You just need add ability by console command. All names of weapon, armor and abilities can be found at PillarsOfEternity_Data\assetbundles\prefabs\objectbundle. You just need creatures name http://orcz.com/Category:Pillars_of_Eternity_Cyclopedia_Bestiary_Entries , all his weapon, armor and abilities starts with this name, for example: fampyr_ranged_charm Important note! Some abilities counts as spells for example fampyr_ranged_charm is a spell. And can only be used by classes that can cast spells. Wizard, Druid, Priest, Cipher this 4 can cast creatures spells, for first 3 working regular rules, but Cipher can cast creature spells unlimited and without focus spend. Monk can't cast creature spells, i didn't check all the remaining classes, but i sure they can't cast creature spells. But some of the creature abilities counts as abilities and can be cast by all classes. End of part 1.

  10. Same question, cause manual says: "Many suits of armor visually cover the hands/feet, but those meshes are replaced if the character is wearing something specific in the hands/feet slot."
  11. - I can confirm that Chants completely unaffected by stats. - Intellect work correct with "inner" area of effect too, so with Int 3 you will have much smaller area of effect for chants and invocations. But what broken is indicator of area. They have standart area indicator(green) and aditional area indicator(light blue) but have no indicator for smaller area. It does damage(checked at first two wolves) but i thought(cause of word "drain" in description) it also must heal stamina to character, but it's not =( i am so sad, i want to roleplay vampire character
