I'm planning to do a run of theme: In my party there should be each base class represented: Geomancer - wizard/ranger - Maia Rua witch - barbarian/cipher - Serafen theurge - druid/chanter Tekehu swashbucker or shadowdancer - rogue/fighter/monk - circle in or choose only one - Eder/Mirke but that leaves me with paladin and priest - a Templar - I feel like it would be bit of a roleplay and I prefer being kind as possible and powerful in combat - still possible? is there any other party combo that allows me to have full cast of all base classes?

I wish you get more spell per level up. Spells are NOT same as skills.

I was responding more to the "skipping most dialogues" bit. Well, it isn't so hard. Just hit continue as fast as you can and you'll still be briefed either in quest log or last dialogue before you choose response.

What? It's true story. Being kind is often rewarding and most games prefer kind approach.

I actually prefer Icewind Dale 2 and NWN1&2 to any other dnd game. Why? Because of: Combat, spell system, bard classes which were different in each of the three games, but much better than in BG1&2 series. I'm magic user, but I never felt satisfied with POE 1, Deadfire somehow hit the right spot.

Firstly, I'm huge fan of Baldur's Gate 2 enhanced edition, Neverwinter Nights series, Divinity Original Sin 2 and Icewind Dale 2. Other games didn't grip me as much. I'm also 24 in September, so Baldur's Gate series is bit old for me, to have played it as soon as it had released. Let me tell you this: I fond combat mechanic superb, I love sheer options for multiclasses and subclasses. I finished the game as Celebrant on relaxed difficulty and I quite enjoyed it. I also often do most easier difficulty. Did a full party, even though I would preferred six party members, but oh well. I run out of spells from time to time, luckily celebrant is part chanter, so he can have almost infinite number of casts - until she's knocked out. But I just reload of needed. I'm planning to do another go when Beast of Winter comes. I done mixed party and done some companion quests. I done very large number of quest, but somehow missed few of them. I skipped through most dialogues, only paying attention for diplomatic/rational/kind responses and it's not that hard for me to accomplish that, since I always skipp dialogue in videogames and still do right responses. It's late here and I haven't slept for a night, so I will probably edit it later.

My main: Templar - Eothas/Wayfarer/ Oracle - Animist/Beguiler companions: theurge - Tekehu geomancer - Maia witch - Serafen AND Mirke - shadowdancer/Eder - swashbuckler Difficulty - POTD.

New info: Devs are planning a late August release, but may be too optimistic and game may be going to be releasing in September.

Some people have played beta and on dev forums there was a outrage about this. It also seems devs didn't even acknowledge the problem, but I'm not sure.

Bard's Tale is going to be released September 18th and it turns out it may have three or five abilities per character including regular attack. Yes, you heard me right. two special abilities and one attack ability. I can see this being a flop. Buy it now on dev page or wait for fast and furious discount?

Story was average and single toon without full party support is something many games have. If you want good story there's also thing called novel.

Could you explain some of choices in POE1 history maker? I need info on: Kana ending White March stuff Dragon stuff Animancy outlawed or not Grieving Mother ending Defiance bay Stuff in that village where Grieving Mother was recruited. basically most stuff I want peaceful and kind history, where Devil was killed by villagers, Eder became a Mayor, Aloth didn't joined Leaden Key, Pellegina obeyed the duc, I supported the Crucible Knights, etc... I wish to pledge to all the gods.

So, everybody's claiming POE2 flopped hard. True or not?

Got the hull and dragonwing sails, but game doesn't recognise dragonwing sails as acquired.

I need independant ending and already have the sails, just need info about other one because I forgot.
