  1. They sure aren't very imaginatve... Disciple, Handmaiden, Mandalore, Exile, those aren't names, they are nouns! Visas is a little weird, too, but at least it can be pronounced as a name...
  2. I played BG Dark Alliance and wasn't all that impressed. It was on PS. What one are you talking about?
  3. I have another little question... I am playing LS. I just went though a dialog with Kreia and got LS points but lost influence. Is there any reason why I would WANT influence with her, as a LS character? I know why i want influence with others, but I don't know why i would want it with Kreia.
  4. Oh, ok, thanks! I was playing really late the other night and stopped because I thought maybe I was supposed to understand him somewhat. I did get the gist of what he was s aying throught the other character's speech, as you said!
  5. Am I supposed to be able to understand what he is saying?
  6. What great responses! This makes me want to play the game even more... wish I didn't have to work!
  7. I read somewhere it is best to do Korriban last. Are there any other suggestions as to the order you should do the planets? I know I can do them in any order, but works best with the story?
  8. I'm glad you asked this, clonevader, because I was just getting ready to. But I don't understand the answer very well... I read that I should save my game before leaving Peragus, and then load that savegame with the new missing content when it comes out. So that may help you... But that makes me feel like stopping now, and waiting. Is there anything I can download now? So I can play a little longer? What are you going to?
  9. Oh, okay, thanks! Now I can get back to playing my game, yay!
  10. Thanks for the quick replies, Battlewookie! Those numbers don't correspond to that space with the three blue walls, so I'm guessing there's nothing I need there. It's at the right of number 8. The thing is, I don't remember ever having any spaces in Kotor1 that were useless and sort of forgotten like that! That's why I figured I should check with you pros, here. )
  11. Well, i'm glad to hear that Peragus isn't exactly what the whole game is all about. I keep reading that this is a great game, even with it's flaws. But I really couldn't wait to get done with Peragus. And I feel no sense of urgency, (except my own due to boredom), like i did on the Endar Spire: I agree that the K1 Endar Spire is like K2's Ebon Hawk Prologue. I should try to dig up that post I read about Peragus being more in depth. That's what it said, I think, somewhere..
  12. Right here... If this attachment works!
  13. No, I was able to do that part...
  14. I got through Peragus and onto the Ebon Hawk okay, but realized that there was an area I wasn't able to get into in the fuel depot. So I reverted to a Saved game just to see, and on the in-game map, it is in the top right hand side, with 3 of those blue radiating walls blocking me off. Apparently it isn't crucial since I can get to the Ebon Hawk, but what is in there? Is it worth trying to get there? I think it said something like droid maintenance. How do I take down those walls?
  15. It may not have been here. I have been reading stuff from all over about this game. Lots of game review sites. So mostly the people here agree with me?
  16. I've read a few posts here and there about how people like Peragus better than Taris in Kotor1, and I just thought I'd ask "Why?" I think I liked Taris better: the music, meeting the players, and the totally different environments within the one world. For instance, you got involved with the gangs and swoop racing, pazaak, the cantina and the duels, the lower city/sewers and the rakgouls (sp). There was a lot to it. After doing Peragus, I feel like I mainly did one thing, explore the same kind of environment and kill the same kind of baddie. I am enjoying the game, but I just saw those posts saying that Peragus was so much better. Maybe I should just play the game and not compare it to kotor1, huh! (I liked the Endar Spire (Kotor1) intro better than the Ebon Hawk intro, too)
  17. Thanks for the welcome! I played Kotor 1, and I thought (and I could be wrong) that if I used Dark Powers, it shifted my alignment. So it doesn't do that in Kotor 2? Well, that's great, because there are some really cool ones to try out!
  18. I just started the game, and I'm a little hazy on the whole light side/dark side influence I have on my party members. So I have this question: I want to be light side, so will it affect anything if I let my party members use Dark Side Powers? Those powers are really a lot of fun!
