    Does it get better? I feel like it takes forever to ramp up to even get an invocation. 9 times out of 10 i'm slaying the last enemy as i'm getting to cast 1 summon...

    Has this been working for you in game? I haven't noticed an increase with 18 int so far.

    Does the blunderbuss require you to be close for each shot to hit though?

    So far I've found I don't like any of the companions and their "personalities". So i just created my own party and got exactly what I wanted. Being forced to have crappy companions was never a fun point for me, especially when they won't shut up over every little thing I do.
