  1. I agree with graf wasili. The current translation would be okay for an MMO or something that does not rely heavily on dialogues and story. From a gameplay perspective the only really glaring issue would be the issues with the wrong names for weapons and other stuff. But a game like PoE needs more than that, and it has it... Just not in the German localisation. I really hope Obsidian is going to do something about it soon. It is rarely fun reading all the stuff. Kinda disappointing to be honest.
  2. Awesome to see that you guys are trying it fix it on your own. These translation issues are the only major complain I have about the game. Regarding "corrosion", what about "Säure"? Not a literate translation, but it still makes sense. I think the same translation was used in NW2, if I remember correctly And I like the "Direkter Schaden" for raw damage. It goes also well with being the resualt of mental and kinda poison effects... Insects not so much, except they like to bury themself in the body and do their thing there (ugh). "Wundschaden" for me is more off a damage over time effect like a bleeding.
  3. I played around two hours so far and the only "bugs" I saw were the many, many translation and formatting mistakes in the German localisation (wich are a death sentence for any kind of immersion in such a text heavy game). I have yet to see a quest bug or something game breaking. There are a few things I feel are a bit strange, but I have yet to understand all the mechanics the game uses so I can not say those are bugs (like the way monks gain their ressources). In other words, I do not regret preordering at all. Compared to the disaster of other releases Obsidian has done a good job (coming from someone who is just two hours in, for whatever that is worth).
