  1. I haven't played a whole lot, mostly I've rerolled until I found the Class I like best (currently Barbarian). 1. Do all class get the same amount of skill points on level up? 2. Do you get the same amount of skill points at each level up? 3. What is the amount of skill points you get at level up? Thanks
  2. Step 7: Lose all NPC specific interactions (for some, like me, that is a very important part of the game). Well pretty sure if you can't already, you'll eventually be able to mod all premade companions to have the perfect Min/max stats. Again, a lot of people don't seem to read what most who don't like the pre-made NPCs are saying. We're not asking for min/max NPCs, we just want decent NPCs, let's take Aloth for a specific example, I don't want 18 Might, 18 Dex, 18 Int with dump stats like 3 Con but, let me just swap the 16 Per and 12 Might and I'll be happy.

  4. Yea, I'm now leaning more and more towards a 2Hander and on the plus side, I think it looks cool
  5. Cool, I actually just swapped Aloth's Might and Perception, all considered I didn't increase his stat total.
  6. WHAT???? Does this (the italic & underlined section) mean you loose all the NPC conversations? Could you be more specific? Let's say I only change the NPC's attributes, I know that disables achievements but, would that disable other stuff? Thanks ...SNIP... Btw does anyone know console command to add and retract companion attributes ? Thanks for the info, for the console command I used this: Press ~ to enter a command. Type "IRoll20s" to enable cheat mode (this disables Achievements) Type "AttributeScore <playername> <attribute> <value>" eg AttributeScore Aloth Might 18 Note that this will change the base attribute value and racial and origin bonus will be applied after. Cheers

  8. I'm early in my play stage, I've pretty much settled on Barbarian. In most of my RPGs, I reroll a lot just to see what class best fits my play style. For my first playthrough, I intend on only using pre-made NPC companions. Now I'm looking at what weapon setup to use, 2handed or dual wield. What is your favorite and why? Thanks
  9. Good to know, my plan for my first play through is to only use the premade NPC companions so I won't be able to get Barbarian/Monk. Here's the group I plan to use: PC - Barbarian NPC - Fighter, Paladin, Wizard, Priest and Druid. I'm hoping that works out fairly well.
  10. This is good to know, I'm very early in the game (I always reroll several times until I find the class that fits my play style best) and wasn't sure what skills to boost and what skills to just put a few points in. Thanks
  11. I agree NPC followers shouldn't be min/maxed, on the other hand, I'd like them to be a bit more optimized. My biggest gripe is their attributes, you can't do anything about those as you level them. So, I used the console command to swap some attributes, like raising Aloth's Might to 16 and reducing his Perception to 12. Nothing Earth jarrig but, enough to make me feel like Aloth can throw a decent Fireball
  12. I know your question is "are the companions well written?" but, for me the companion interactions is a big part of the appeal for these games so, for my 1st run through, I'll be sure to only use them. I may try a custom party if I wan't to try the very hard settings. Edit: Quotes to make sense )
  13. Can't you just use the Console commands to fix the stats? Or am I missing something?
